• War has broken out between Azerbaidjan and Armenia

There isn't a war anyway, despite the name of this thread. It's only a ramp up in tensions, some artillery being shot back and forth, some skirmishes. Hopefully cooler heads prevail in the end and things go back to normal, as strained as they are.
yes you can just like you can go back to work after a lunch break being this pedantic just made you look stupid [editline]25th January 2014[/editline] A training exercise from a few years ago? [editline]25th January 2014[/editline] lmao I guess you don't have anything official.
wow man you seem really snippy today
wow man you seem really snippy today
Its just embarrassing that all it takes is a few pictures of an old military parade, a nondescript video of a live firing exercise, and a government talk from 2011 to convince facepunch that full blow war has broken out between two states.
This fucking guy [editline]25th January 2014[/editline] Can you start showing ur sources pls
Very helpful OP. Keep us updated on the Pakistan-India border skirmishes as well please.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armenia%E2%80%93Azerbaijan_relations_in_the_Eurovision_Song_Contest
In August 2009 a number of Azerbaijanis who had voted for Armenia's entry during the contest were summoned for questioning at the Ministry of National Security in Baku, during which they were accused of being "unpatriotic" and "a potential security threat". One of those summoned, Rovshan Nasirli, said that he was told by his interrogators that they had the names and addresses of all 43 Azerbaijanis who had voted for Armenia.

A training exercise from a few years ago? [editline]25th January 2014[/editline]
Except it's from last night not a couple years ago.
Except it's from last night not a couple years ago.
got anything more than an upload date to verify it?
Nope
Nope
Well then I'm sorry for not automatically assuming everything someone tells me on the internet is correct for the sake of knee-jerk sensationalism and bleeding heart ratings.
Got anything official on this?
You mean the ceasefire? There's this but it doesn't have sources so I don't know. [editline]25th January 2014[/editline] Also if you're gonna argue you at least could make it not look like shitposting.

Whelp, Eastern Europe has turned into quite the hotspot.
Here's a Bloomberg source: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-01-24/azeri-troops-clash-with-armenia-forces-as-foreign-ministers-meet.html
Both supplied by Russia, who will win.
there is no winner in war, only those that loses less ..
there is no winner in war, only those that loses less ..
Or the one who plain doesn't fight.
Whelp, Eastern Europe has turned into quite the hotspot.
These countries aren't in Europe tho?
Whelp, Eastern Europe has turned into quite the hotspot.
Wouldn't consider the Caucasus to be Eastern Europe.
Ridiculous. By that logic: Say hello to your new Italian overlords, entire-mediterranean-ring-also-england-also-Mesopotamia.
I'd be totally okay with this, actually.
Well, even if there isn't actually a war going on, at least now I know about a big conflict in that area.
the IOC should consider postponing the games on account of Ukraine burning, Russia swimming in terrorists, and now this... course that would really piss Russia off [editline]25th January 2014[/editline] but the whole region is filled with boarder clashes so this isn't really new
i have a friend in armenia, i hope he doesn't get drafted or anything. even if it's just a skirmish, i hear the armenian military is really really tough
WW3 calling it now :v:
OP I noticed you just copy and pasted this thread from the same thread from /k/ last night. Too bad you couldn't take the time to read 20 posts into the thread and find that its all bullshit, there are zero news sources except for one day old article on a azeri site(which you linked), and there is no "war". Just the usual border tensions.
the concept of "historic territory" is possibly the dumbest thing ever tbh, no matter who it is. causes so much bullshit.
the concept of "historic territory" is possibly the dumbest thing ever tbh, no matter who it is. causes so much bullshit.
You don't understand; the reconquest CB gives no infamy. If conquest is used you'd also gain an agressive expansion malus with the surrounding countries, which will form a coalition against you.
