This is why I disable mobile websites on my mobile devices. :D
Man Windows Phone 7 is a really stupid name [editline]2nd April 2011[/editline] Granted Apple isn't much better just because they put i in front of everything
This is why I disable mobile websites on my mobile devices. :D
that doesn't make any sense for several reasons, most important of which is we're not talking about websites.
Granted Apple isn't much better just because they put i in front of everything
Not to forget they called their piece of shit iOS even though Cisco was already using IOS for the OS in their networking equipment.
Not to forget they called their piece of shit iOS even though Cisco was already using IOS for the OS in their networking equipment.
iOS =/= IOS :downs: It's funny because I bet that if somebody named something iOs apple would sue them in no time.
The point is that Apple is always taking everybody into the fucking courts because "their product might be confused with an Apple product due to the similarity of the name" and then they name their piece of shit as "iOS". It's exactly the same fucking name as IOS, except the I is lower-case.
And it's also an operating system. Good going Apple.
well google sucks now anyway
What the fuck? Have you seen Gmail Motion? That shit is revolutionary.
I tried to open a .docx file on my android phone the other day.
Worked on my Android phone. Also Microsoft is right on this one if Google really isn't giving them permission to use the YT API. [editline]2nd April 2011[/editline]
I'm confused, if they're just as good, they can get the meta data themselves, and they can code it themselves. Do they really want to ask the competitor for help?
There is an API for the YT metadata, but Google isn't giving them access (although it's very easy for anyone to get an API key).
Maybe Microsoft should just make BingTube.

For our part, we continue to discuss the case with the European Commission and we're happy to explain to anyone how our business works," is stated.
Best case scenario: They're being interrogated by the EU Worst case scenario (most likely scenario): "Well, I do hope you enjoyed this meal. Now, about our business policy. I think you'll find it's all explained right here. Yes, on the memo line. Below all the zeroes."
I don't blame google for blocking out Windows. After all, Google caught Bing hijacking their algorithm
That wasn't true though. Bing Toolbar collects search data and see where they go to make search results more relevant. Google installed Bing Toolbar and search for a random phrase over and over until it learned when the user searched for x the user most often clicked on y. Then it was sent to Bing's servers and then when anyone searched for x, y would come up. It was complete BS because Microsoft publicly states that Bing Toolbar does this. Just like other search engines have ways to learn what users search for and click on Microsoft does to. I don't understand why everyone bashing Bing anyways. I did a series of tests and the search results were 90-95% the same results in a different order. Plus Bing has more features that some people might find useful. I also don't understand why almost everybody is so quick to defend what Google says or does.
microsoft filing antitrust suits lol
Natural monopoly.
What do you expect buying into the newest mobile OS, of course the other ones work better because they have had years to be fine tuned. The same thing can be said about every Windows OS released for PC, not everything is going to work perfectly at first.
Ignorant posts in thread as usual. Read the article before posting, they state that they already have the proper youtube app finished, but they can't use it because google won't let them access some of youtube's metadata. For the lazy:
Microsoft is ready to release a high quality YouTube app for Windows Phone. We just need permission to access YouTube in the way that other phones already do, permission Google has refused to provide.
[editline]2nd April 2011[/editline]
I don't understand why everyone bashing Bing anyways. Just because I use google search doesn't mean I can't admit bing is good too, and just because I use windows (mostly) doesn't mean I can't admit that linux is good too. Everything has its advantages and disadvantages, and I wish people could just get their shit together and stop going on fanboy crusades on the internet.
