You know, when you see a bunch of life or death situations in the OR every day potentially is assume that you'd have an extremely cynical attitude about your job. Not that it's an excuse but I mean, it's partially understandable.
There's a massive difference between developing a mental block from all the terrible things you deal with at work, and becoming an abusive ass that verbally abuses your patients and falsifies their medical records providing false diagnosis. [editline]25th June 2015[/editline]
$500,000 is ridiculously high for some insults. I mean come on, it's words, it's not like they harmed or botched the operation. This sets a very bad precedent.
They gave him a false diagnosis and verbally abused him while he was under, they should lose their licenses. There's no room in medicine for such ridiculously childish and abusive behavior, and there are plenty of people who would be eager to fill their shoes and do a better job.
I cannot fathom what a medically-ill man can do that warrants such senseless hostility.
Is anyone else most confused at the part where they borderline threaten to arrange a fistfight between him and another doctor because he required more anesthetic than a normal patient?

At that point you have to question whether or not people's lives are safe in the hands of a person who hates them and wants nothing more than to get rid of them. Not saying they'll kill anyone, but if there's a chance for them to hesitate even for a second if something goes wrong, they shouldn't be doing surgery.
My question is, why should these "Doctors" be allowed to keep their jobs? Unless they learned how unprofessional they were and that this kind of behavior can be fatal, then they need to be removed.
Why should you give a damn what the doctors think of you? If the doctor performs the surgery correctly I could give two shits if they're talking shit about me while I'm out. Words are just words, and what they say has no direct impact on how you live your life. Sue for malpractice, not meaningless gum smacking.

The jury apparently decided that even though calling him names doesn't meet the legal requirements for defamation, they awarded him the money simply because it was such unprofessional behavior. What a shitty fucking way to go, must've been hard for the guy to listen to his tape. Imagine four faggots trash talking about you while you're sedated and they're cutting you open.
There's a high likelihood that the Surgeon that's cutting you up is either a Sociopath or a Psycopath.
Just from anecdotal evidence from my mother who works in hospitals and the brief interactions I've had it seems like the position attracts a weird lot. No complaints on the accuracy of their work though.
Tldr hoe talks mad shit, wrecks herself Respect is still at large (User was banned for this post ("Shitposting/Talking like this across various threads" - Starpluck))
