you can't be addicted to pot.
thats like saying you cant be addicted to video games. protip: you can
you can't be addicted to pot.
You can be addicted to virtually anything.
You can be addicted to anything
very true, however, it doesn't contain any sort of chemical or additives that can heighten the chances of addiction, and the brain does not form a dependency on it as easily. But you CAN become addicted to anything.
Weed isn't dangerous .. what the fuck is this.
No, I mean that I'm not going through withdrawal because I didn't get my daily dose of it. I obviously take it recreationally and not medicinally, but when I had to get my toe sliced open due to quadruple ingrown toenails I took it somewhat medicinally, and it was better than taking over the counter pills that would probably be worse for me in the long run.
yeah i fucked up reading what you said my b
who ever says that pot is 100% non addicting is an idiot. Because like the post above me said, you can virtually be addicted anything.
I smoke pot and I ran out 2 weeks ago. I smoked almost daily and haven't acted at all different since I stopped, and haven't felt the need to get high recently so I haven't bought more. There is nothing physically addicting in pot.
Actually, anyone can be addicted to anything, as long as they associate it with a feeling of pleasure long enough, such as video games, or television, or even the act of eating. EDIT: r8 l8 m8
Incoming angry potheads pretending that they arn't addicted.
I don't smoke pot and I'm still angry.
thats like saying you cant be addicted to video games. protip: you can
Theres a difference between a physical addiction and a mental addiction. That would be a mental addiction, and yes, you can become mentally addicted to it, but like you said you can be mentally addicted to anything.
But yeah, this is complete bullshit. People are too blind to look at the facts of marijuana.
very true, however, it doesn't contain any sort of chemical or additives that can heighten the chances of addiction, and the brain does not form a dependency on it as easily. But you CAN become addicted to anything.
True, but I'd like people to stop saying you can't be addicted to it. The fact that a majority of users aren't addicted it true, but it is possible to become addicted.
who ever says that pot is 100% non addicting is an idiot. Because like the post above me said, you can virtually be addicted anything.
see my last post. It's 100% non addicting in the sense that there is nothing in it that will make you addicted.
The point of the thread is that they are blatantly giving false sensationalist information to children, almost like organized religion. It's combing the voters of tomorrow in your direction.
Theres a difference between a physical addiction and a mental addiction.
True, but I'd like people to stop saying you can't be addicted to it. The fact that a majority of users aren't addicted it true, but it is possible to become addicted.
You have a point, I'll start saying that you can't become physically addicted to it, would that be a better term? I'm not trying to be sarcastic, I actually do agree with you.
You have a point, I'll start saying that you can't become physically addicted to it, would that be a better term? I'm not trying to be sarcastic, I actually do agree with you.
The only difference between a physical and a mental addiction is that in a mental addiction the chemicals are on your side.
Have you seen a documentary called "The Union" ? for all you weed smokers and non-weed smokers, I implore you ALL to download/buy and watch this because of the facts and ideas it demonstrates. It's not a biast documentary that is for or against weed, it is merely a small group of friends trying to work out what makes weed so popular, why its banned, what made it banned in the first place, how dangerous it is, the consequences of smoking weed law/physical and mental-wise and how it is all achieved.
Going outside leads to meeting people which leads to meeting potheads which leads to pot which leads to heroin keep your kids inside or you're a shitty parent
Marijuana is not chemically addictive. It's addictive in the same way video games, the internet, and procrastination in general is.
You can be addicted to virtually anything.
your body doesn't go into withdrawal if you stop doing it, is basically what people mean by addicted
The only difference between a physical and a mental addiction is that in a mental addiction the chemicals are on your side.
No, the only difference is that with one everybody using it will become addicted no matter what because it's addicting.
What is more readily available as a painkiller, and feels even better? Vicodin and morphine. Should we ban those? [editline]06:47PM[/editline] You can be addicted to anything
Vicodin and morphine are both fancy names for heroin. They're highly addictive and potentially deadly, but you're defending their use against marijuana, which has been proven, time and time again, to be neither? Yes, there are some forms of pain which require the use of highly potent substances. But there are many that don't, and doctors regularly over-prescribe these dangerous substances for maladies that would be better suited to marijuana. Even if you think that marijuana makes kids dumb, you should at least support medicinal use, as it is an effective painkiller without the potentially life-ruining side effects. If you're anti-drug, you should be fully against opiates and marijuana. If you're pro-opiate and anti-weed, you're obviously just another victim of the anti-marijuana propaganda we've all been exposed to as children.
see my last post. It's 100% non addicting in the sense that there is nothing in it that will make you addicted.
look at my post, i said that. It contains no additives like cigarettes do that can heighten the chances of addiction. You can still get addicted to it. And before you think im some "OMG WEED IZ BAD!!" guy, i'm far from it and fully support legalization.
I do fully support legalization too, but I still would never use weed, or any other drug that doesn't come in a pill your doctor can give you.
In some states now you can be prescribed weed, that's what this flyer that got passed out was trying to stop. You need a doctor given medical card to get it.
being addicted to weed is the same as being addicted to games. you don't see me convulsing and vomiting when I can't play civ4 for a week.
What is more readily available as a painkiller, and feels even better? Vicodin and morphine. Should we ban those? [editline]06:47PM[/editline] You can be addicted to anything
If we had a more effective painkiller, yes we should ban those
In some states now you can be prescribed weed, that's what this flyer that got passed out was trying to stop. I was brainwashed at young age aswell, yet I gave it a try somehow - no regrets.
