It'd be nice if people stopped posting shock images.
Yeah, it would be nice if people stopped posting them. But it shouldn't be illegal.
Now I want to find email addresses to Tennessee officials and sent Goatse

Keep in mind, this is Tennessee.
This law was created because of a video where three ten-year-old girls force a equal-aged boy into submission and force all of his clothes off, while he cries in anguish. It was appaling and something needed to be done, but this is completely wrong and backwards to the cause.

That can be about pretty much all reactionary laws like this one. It's poorly thought out and is running on temporary public outrage and will only serve as a hindrance later on.

:wtc:
Uh, link to the video? You know, just to confirm that it exists and totally not to satisfy any perverted fetishes? :v:
Seriously though, that's a pretty serious statement.
The shape of Tennessee causes me emotional distress.
Tennessee, huh? Hey guys, let's go look up images of aborted fetuses that are used as propaganda by the pro-life movement, then get them all thrown in jail! :v:
I'm sure some hick will try to get that Congressman thrown in jail when they see Wiener's... Wiener once its eventually leaked.
May as well ban television and burn books with pictures down there then.
Oh hey, I live in Tennessee! I'm going to report all of you faggots to the police!
Ya'll dun' goof'd!
Ha, but really; I'd say that I'm going to vote out the current Senator in 2012, but then I realize none of the potential candidates are any better. Anyone in Canada have a room open for rent?

Everyone has a different level of "emotional distress", some people can't even watch a horror movie and unable to sleep a night because of it, some people can watch 5 in a row and still sleep like a baby.
This law is just made for bigots if you ask me...
nah dont go to canada some real bullshit involving their internet's been floating about
go to the netherlands they have guaranteed net neutrality

Meanwhile in Tennessee
I'm calling my lawyer!
This is stupid and totally illegal; these laws would be struck down in federal court.
So basically, shock images are banned in Tennessee?
As disturbing as they are, this law is bulllshit.
If I lived in Tennessee I'd anonymously mail goatse to all the politicians that supported this.
If I claim that my friend's facebook profile pic is causing me emotional distress, can I have any pictures related to him/her banned off the internet.
Too bad I don't live in Tennessee. :v:

this is tennessee, former confederacy y'know? no it wont
I strongly predict this won't survive a challenge in court.
I'm surprised no one has posted postal's butt
Is Tennessee's government like, retarded, or something?
So the Electric Retard comic is banned in both Germany AND Tennessee.
Stupid subjective law that wont be enforced at all. Why do they even waste their time?
