Wakka made like the only good post in the thread
Saw this on the news this morning, wasn't aware that she was a lesbian. Oh well, maybe there will be a little more equality in the court.
Ew
This is my new shock image spray.

WASHINGTON — Solicitor General Elena Kagan will be nominated Monday to the Supreme Court by President Barack Obama, a person familiar with the president's thinking says, positioning the high court to have three women justices for the first time. Obama plans to announce his choice at 10 a.m. in the East Room of the White House. The source spoke on condition of anonymity because the decision, which came after a monthlong search, had not been made public.[/release]
Good to see something like this happening.
She's the sister of one the teachers in my school and she also attended that same school.
(HCHS in NYC)
Why am I reminded of some of the fictional family members of live action Disney Channel characters?
Haha, oh my god. David Mitchell in drag.

because you don't have thoughts that coherently lead to other thoughts

"why am i reminded of whopper wednesdays at burger king?"
because you don't have thoughts that coherently lead to other thoughts
No, She just looks like a dude in a bad disguise. Just like Moseby's(sic?) Mom on Disney, Or Rico's cousin that looks like him.
I fucking love Obama
ITT: Looks > qualifications/experience
He's really throwing away a great opportunity, she's way too conservative and will probably support few to none of his viewpoints.

Except if they're furry, right?
Why am I reminded of some of the fictional family members of live action Disney Channel characters?
Why do you watch Disney Channel
Why am I reminded of some of the fictional family members of live action Disney Channel characters?
The real question is; why are you watching live action Disney Channel shows?
Fucking Mexican got me by 8 minutes.

What now?
She has the face of evil.
That's just the face....
OF JUSTICE.
Faux News will have a field day on this.
Why should anyone even give a care that she's a lesbian?
She's never been a judge before. I think we have some issue on the EXPERIENCE front.
I love setting precedents

:objection:
She's a very moderate Democrat, and has gone to Harvard, Princeton, and Oxford.
I think she'll vote in the right as far as court cases go, as opposed for the right-winged politicians.
Why should anyone even give a care that she's a lesbian?
Probably the Republicans considering that they won't feel too comfortable with a Jewish lesbian judge.
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Major problem here...
She's being nominated into the Supreme Court and has never served as a judge in any court?
She isn't the first
Supreme court judge is way different than a regular judge. Still, experience doesn't hurt. Of course Barrack proved the experience argument doesn't quite cut it. Hell, Jimmy Carter was elected just because he had no experience.
She's a lesbian? I didn't expect that honestly. I'm curious what the presence of a homosexual in the supreme court will do for gay rights.
She's :butt:ugly thought.
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Major problem here...
She's being nominated into the Supreme Court and has never served as a judge in any court?
As much as I like the idea of a lesbian justice, this does seem a bit weird.
I'd also prefer a strong liberal.
