You know it's more than likely though that nobody gets tried after the investigating parties have concluded their juggling sessions.
Which I'll admit, is possible, but the other fact of this is it's being openly testified to Congress. The fact the army representative changed the official story 3 times to this 4th one now is also grounds for higher scrutiny from Congress. I doubt anyone will be charged, but this needs to make some heads figuratively roll.
If you require drones for more than just Intel you are participating in a conflict by proxy or simply wanting to be involved in something where you shouldn't be. Call it a high tech advantage but it really seems like cheating.
The main advantage drones have over dropping ordnance from a manned aircraft is operator safety. That's it. [editline]10th October 2015[/editline] The munitions used aren't any more accurate or deadly.
, this is war, and those responsible will be reprimanded.
except when it's you guys that bomb a hospital [editline]12th October 2015[/editline]
The US commander of international forces in Afghanistan has said an air strike on a hospital in the northern city of Kunduz was a mistake. Gen John Campbell said that the US would never intentionally target a protected medical facility. At least 22 people were killed in the attack as government forces battled to retake the city from the Taliban. Gen Campbell also said that the US must consider boosting its military presence in Afghanistan after 2016.
"we fucked up and bombed a hospital btw send in more troops? c:"
