that whole superhuge army thing probably wouldn't help either
Its kind of a volunteer military who probably have the same opinion as us. Fighting for your country, not the government. Not only all of that, but the previous (which is almost identical to the current) Congress was, by all statistical measurement, the least productive Congress ever.
Watch this guy get assassinated. Then we'll know.
Watch this guy get assassinated. Then we'll know.
That's the most unwholesome part about our modern government. They don't have to kill people anymore. They have uncontested dominance over mass media outlets and the political process. Anyone they dislike will just get no air time, no coverage, and will fade out of public consciousness as if they were dead. Positive change is unlikely to come from the top down in this case. Maybe Obama will have a moment of clarity and pull all the stops off the social/political reform train like FDR did, but chances are it'll take either enough time for every current senator to die of old age, or a new grassroots political movement. Either way it's precarious ground.
Watch this guy get assassinated. Then we'll know.
New World Order assassinations, am I right?
that whole superhuge army thing probably wouldn't help either
afaik they wouldn't use the homeland army to suppress their own people, rather they'd hire out mercenaries to do it or call in foreign military "aide"
