The plastic surgery he got was a result of a really bad car crash he got in. I imagine they'll explain it in the movie as Palpatine's lightning fucking his face up.

Both he and Carrie said that they were going to have alot of exercising to get a bit more fit for the role(s) a few months back, i'm not worried.

I wonder who the lead is (John Boyega?). The rest of them don't have the look of being a main 'jedi' type character. Some of them look like they'll be cast as smugglers or Imperial villains.

If I recall correctly, Episode VII will be a kind of send-off for them and they won't appear or will have tiny roles in subsequent films.
