Paralyzed F1 Racer Michael Schumacher's wife sells off £25m jet and holiday pad as "he won't use the

I don't think she's selling stuff because of costs, I think she's selling crap that they don't need and is just a distraction to them now. If she's focused on managing his care what does she need all that other stuff for?
Not only that, but let's say he 'improves' to the point where flying off to some vacation home is something they want to do, they can buy another jet and home at that time.
What would have happened to someone in this position without the finances that the Schumachers have?

I know that it doesn't actually represent what he ACTUALLY but he's got a fuck ton of cash. Just because his wife said "he won't ever use them again" doesn't actually mean that his income is non-existent. He can still do PR gigs and still earn money.

Also it is a brain injury yes but that hasn't stopped people in the past.
I just really question the motive.
Net worth isn't just income, it's the value of his property. Like a private jet and additional properties.

They'd probably have pulled the plug at some point.
His jet was a Dassault Falcon 2000LX, which costs about $29 million used.

Uh, net worth is not cash on hand.
That jet and home in Norway are part of that 'net worth'.
Net worth doesn't count all the pennies they have in the bank, it totals all of their assets.
Survived going at 300+km/h while racing for many years, and then just hits a rock during holidays and his life is all messed up...
Life can really deliver a big middle finger to a person sometimes.
I don't see it as life giving a person a middle finger so much as a reminder that we are all the same. No matter how rich or famous you are, hitting your head can kill you or worse just as easily as it would a homeless person on the street.
Here in the US back in 1999, JFK jr, the closest thing the US had to a prince, killed himself and his wife AND his sister in law by crashing his plane. He was flying in conditions, instruments only, he was not qualified to fly in. All his fame, family fortune, and unlimited future couldn't save him from the exact same fate any other private pilot would have in that same situation.

Not the point I was making.
What I meant was that he spent years racing at extremely high speeds in cars that aren't exactly the paragon of safety and require a ton of experience to master in comparison to other motorsports for performance reasons, susceptible to a crash bad enough to get him killed, and then all of a sudden, his life is fucked because of banging his head on a rock in the most simple of ways while on holiday.
Like wrestling sharks in a sea of flames, surviving, and then dying at home due to slipping and hitting your head on the sink.
