i love not even having to care about condoms [sp]and yes i do have a boyfriend in case you wanna be cute[/sp]
There are still dangers associated with unprotected anal sex even between faithful couples.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tenofovir/emtricitabine http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zidovudine#HIV_prophylaxis [editline]29th May 2014[/editline] also vaccinations for some STDs
Cures =/= protection. You also don't want to have to go through either of the things you linked to, they're not fun. Vaccines I'll give you but on the whole condoms pretty much at the moment are the only form of protection from STD's, if you're talking realistically. Vaccines aren't always easily available, and therefore aren't even something some people would consider.
Take the banana in the OP, and dip it in a jar of peanut-butter. That's why you need a condom.
I can say from experience that this isn't usually a problem if you know what you're doin'
He's talking about protection from pregnancy. No need to react so harshly.
I think it's totally justified (though yeah, it was a bit rude) you should never solely be thinking about pregnancy unless it is a long term relationship, which certainly isn't something that people intend to imply to when they just say "sex" in this kind of situation.
THEY ARE THE ONLY FORM OF PROTECTION AGAINST STDs you are the reason every teenager in this country who's really old enough to know better is put through incredibly patronising sexual education classes christ [editline]30th May 2014[/editline] hello my name's NiandraLades and gay people don't exist
Lol I love it when people say other random people are the reason for our shitty sex ed classes, yes this one individual right here shapes the future of sex ed.
Come to think of it my sex ed classes only STI discussion was "if you have sex with someone you aren't married to then you'll probably die" Not one mention of condoms either. Yay Catholic schools.
i just want them to release that origami condom already!!
We had plenty of STD discussion in our sex ed classes, but only for straight people. So it's kinda useless if you're not interested in having sex with women.
dick too small, cap covers entire penis what do
dick too small, cap covers entire penis what do
use it like a normal condom?
We had plenty of STD discussion in our sex ed classes, but only for straight people. So it's kinda useless if you're not interested in having sex with women.
Not really. The same principles can be applied to not straight sex. You want to minimize contact with bodily fluids with open areas into the body (open wounds, urethra, anal canal, etc.).
dick too small, cap covers entire penis what do
Check the junk folder in your inbox and get your credit card ready.
Yep, it's not like that killed one of the coolest people in history or anything. Yeah both you and your partner can get checked for STIs before doing anything but there's always the possibility one partner will be unfaithful or something.
No, we just don't get icky no icky fluids or anything yaaaaaay
No, we just don't get icky no icky fluids or anything yaaaaaay
Are you trying to act dumb? The penis gets a lot of microtears in it, VERY easily. Same with the anus. You can very easily contract any STI or STD from the person you're in contact with like that, or even if you sword fight or whatever. If you and your partner haven't been checked, you should get checked. If you haven't you probably shouldn't be risking it, or you're putting yourself at risk. Pro tip, you don't need visible fluids involved to contract an STI/STD
Because the pill and shot don't protect against STI's...come on now.
Despite sex education being something I'd like to think I'm quite knowledgeable on, this did kinda slip my mind when I wrote my post. I am idiot and you are a 100% right, thank you for your reply
What condom was better than it 400 years ago then?
What condom was better than it 400 years ago then?
The one made out of sheep butthole.
Anywhere i can sign up to become a tester for these condoms?
Not a very good idea since..
Currently, there is no scientific evidence to support that this condom can protect you from the STDs your sex partners may be carrying.

No no fluids no icky bits what is so hard to understand about this (and i think it's kinda dumb to get a partner checked out before making out)
There's no reason to get needlessly cryptic. It's just dumb. I suppose you don't have sex and that's why you don't need condoms?
So how would this work for the "hard top" crowd?
i love not even having to care about condoms [sp]and yes i do have a boyfriend in case you wanna be cute[/sp]
I've still used a condom with mine until I'm comfortable enough not use them though?
I'm particularly looking forward to this because my girlfriend has thyroid issues (history of cancer in her family) and as a result through some weird medical stuff that I don't understand she's more likely to experience some of the side effects of the pill. She's going to try it soon, but there's a good chance it won't be a viable option. For the time being, we're limited to condoms and spermicide. There's disappointingly little birth control for guys, so this is really interesting. I'm just concerned about how effective the adhesive is, and whether or not there's a risk of leakage.
We had plenty of STD discussion in our sex ed classes, but only for straight people. So it's kinda useless if you're not interested in having sex with women.
Same shit, different hole. Use protection, and if your in a longterm relationship it can't hurt to get checked out.
Has to be applied hours before? I can see people not using it then
I can see Facepunch never needing to use them.
Honestly though, condoms are a bane... I pity everyone who, for whatever wholly justified reason, can't just kick back and enjoy the ride thanks to far more effective methods. Nothing beats being the filthy sexual animal a human was meant to be sans the screaming bundle of terror that would usually inevitably crash your party afterwards. 'Tis a great time to be alive!

That's because they don't teach it in sex ed.
Think of how many people think "gay people don't need condoms." That's because they don't teach it in sex ed.
Get proper sex ed, they do back here.
Get proper sex ed, they do back here.
Yes, I am in a position where I have the power to change sex ed for the entire United States.
Yes, I am in a position where I have the power to change sex ed for the entire United States.
Ask your teacher.
But how much jizz can it hold, After a certain point the pressure would force the jizz back in to your penis and you could impregnate yourself guys.
Yes, I am in a position where I have the power to change sex ed for the entire United States.
It wasn't meant like that, but if everyone just went "I can't change that" nothing would happen. Write an angry letter and be vocal - you might influence something just a bit.
Kinda shitty poopedy pop that men don't have such diversity as women when it comes to contraception. Condoms are pretty much the only one that prevents STD's and those pesky babies. I myself am pro pill when it comes to contraception between your long term partner.
