Currently 88f in my part of California. I'll trade you 12 degrees. On the other hand, I can laugh at my sister who's busy freezing on the other side of the country.
For my american bros, that's -36.4 Fahrenheit to -58 Fahrenheit.
Dude what the fuck, I can barely handle 30F That's some Ice Age-tier shit
I was wearing a sweater, jacket, and a full body freezer suit and I was still mighty uncomfortable outside this morning. [editline]14th February 2016[/editline] Like I cannot stress this enough, these temperatures -can- kill you if you shit around in a button up and jeans. Wear layers
You can wear jeans just fine if you have something under them. Not the ideal I guess but just fine.
Pennsylvania here. Well, it was. I think we're legally part of Ontario now.
It's only getting down to -3 F in New Hampshire. It's definitely not as bad as some of you have posted but it's colder than usual for sure. Take into account that I have to work outside in this for my security job. I drive around in a truck but still have to get out a lot to check buildings. I'm putting on sweat pants underneath my uniform and it will still be chilly. Also just curious what do you guys wear for warm clothes in Canada? I have long underwear for work but is there anything better to wear under casual clothes?
how the fuck is anyone still driving their cars or getting running water there
2 cranks got my old shitbox started at -25 for my drive to work, no use of a heater. Also nobody bothers wearing snowpants unless they're going to be outside for more than an hour.

But if I was just going to the store I don't bundle up.

I wear long underwear every single day when its this cold, and I've even resorted to wearing two pairs when it got down to more than -30F windchill, obviously you'll still be chilly but my best advice is to cover any exposed skin and don't be that dumbass wearing nothing but pants and a t-shirt in this weather. Just wear plenty of layers, if it regularly gets this cold where you are, buy several pairs of long underwear and you'll be fine.
Spring, please come faster
can i just say it's fucking crazy that the northeast has such insane weather patterns? our entire infrastructure has to be able to withstand shit like -30 in the winter and 104 degrees in the summer. imagine being a DPW worker during storms like this
Got a ride into work because of the cold. Saw someone leaving a store in shorts. People.
You wouldn't wanna walk outside with your mouth open, itd be like getting kicked in the teeth
Hm it's a bit windier here aswell.
Temperatures have recovered to a balmy -15 to -20. Its quite nice, given the 30-40 cm of snow my city is supposed to get tomorrow.
Here in Kansas we're having one of the most mild winters in years. It's 60 F outside at the moment. It gets cold here normally during the winter. I can't imagine what -30 would be like. The worst I've experienced was around -20 F with windchill, and that was terrifying.
Dude what the fuck, I can barely handle 30F That's some Ice Age-tier shit
The more you're exposed, the more you can handle. Its not uncommon for people around me to be in shorts when its 10 degrees out. You just deal with it and become a man/woman.
pennsylvania here. work cancelled tonight due to the weather. also really fucking sick of the cold and snow already. cold please leave. thank you.
Upstate SC here we just started to get this. Over 182 Incidents in just 5 counties in-progress. I have a feeling SCDOT did not pre-treat roads. Also it's cold and windy.

RIP Massachusetts, we shall retrieve your frozen Popsicle corpses when Spring comes.
