so you're actually messing with really dangerous things that you don't even know shit about great going see you at the morgue
He's knows shit about them. Joe is the resident facepunch drug addict.
no you don't become hooked if you try any drug once wtf are you talking about
Haha oh shit and I thought it was morally dubious to tell people that "weed isn't all that bad". Apparently we should all just try meth! I hope I never go so far that I don't remember how a door works. If i'm ever that far gone, it'd be great if one of you could come over and shoot me or something.
like physiologically addicted yeah no thats not gonna happen after one go but you can definitely get hooked on something first time psychologically if you are weaker willed
Meth isn't physiologically addictive. Thinking oh that was cool might try that again one day is not psychologically addicted [editline]2nd January 2015[/editline] when you become PSYCHOLOGICALLY addicted to meth, wgich can take a wgile of constant use you think you need it. But you don't. You can stop, ride out a week of feeling like shit and you're back to normal. Drink enough to become physically addicted to alcohol, it ain't so simple. It might just kill you stopping. Your body is dependant on it. (User was permabanned for this post ("Ban evasion, should know better" - Orkel))

Your body is dependant on it.
you can become psychologically hooked on practically anything you enjoy, even if you do it just once. with recreational drugs, it's much more of an extreme case compared to others. countless times have i heard people who tried coke or H "just once" still continue to mention their craving to do it again. comments like this are why we need proper drug education... or to just get rid of all the misinformation out there. either way, take it from someone who grew up around this shit - stay the fuck away from drugs.
Sorry what I said was completely correct. 'You will get hocked on the first time' is completely wrong. Proper drug education would echo that. [editline]2nd January 2015[/editline] Drug education should be based on actual science not morality and scare tactics. I wonder how many kids when watching their friends get into drug use think 'hang on..... they're not all dying! In fact none of them are. What they taught in school was bollocks!" And disregard everything they learnt even if some of it was good. Science and how to be safe. No more.
Couple gets trapped in (unlocked) closet... Let's recap- they smoked so much they forgot how doors work. Ok, it happens- drugs are bad m'kay... But then the best part. Some random guy on FP chooses this example as his hill to defend on how drugs are harmless.
I've done meth and it's one of those drugs I think people are better off leaving alone. It's really only popular because it gives you a more intense version of the effect you'd get from cocaine, but it's much cheaper. Therein lies the problem. It's real easy to get carried away. The other thing is it messes with your mind, almost makes you psychotic. You don't sleep and that's part of it. These two may have gone without enough sleep to have lost touch with reality. That's why they thought they were trapped, they were in the Twilight Zone mentally.
