Still won't fix the democrats being corporate shills as well.

It wasn't.
I personally don't want Obamacare, because it isn't "socialized healthcare" all it does is tax your income more if you don't buy shitty expensive healthcare from some corporation.

Well that's what socialized healthcare is.
The idea is that everyone who can contribute - contributes - for the greater well being of their own countrymen.

Which is why I don't understand why my people immediately jump on any form on socialized healthcare with "They're taking away mah rights/money!" If it was implemented properly, it would benefit everyone.
Keep on blaming obama, his policies and the congress. It's all a big circus to distract you from what is really going on.

Although the current US version is half assed & butchered.

Only caring about themselves instead of the people in the country as a whole.
Basically being self-centered twats that believe they'd never end up in a shitty situation and need medical help.

I'd say come here, but you'd drown in tea and get gang raped by EDL.

It'd be absolutely brilliant if executed right, but you're asking the US government to do something here, so you have a better chance getting a grain of rice to recite Sonata No 9 by Beethoven.
I'm just amazed how many of these are just straight up hostage situations

There's load of Schokolade and Cheese for everyone!
is it bad I want the shutdown to happen, just so that everyone can see the republicans for what they really are, cry babies who don't actually care about the country
"Sir the Demos won't give up Obamacare!"
"SHUT
DOWN
AMERICA"

Yes. Losing a few weeks pay sucks massively. The retards blame Obama now and they will still blame Obama after it hits the fan.
Fuck Republicans. Never have I seen a party that is so willing to fuck up their own economy if they don't get their shitty own agenda in.
Well Obama did pass the Affordable Care Act regardless of how much debt it creates and regardless if we can even afford to pay for it just to get his shitty own agenda in.
There was a LOT of problems with Obamacare that were never resolved because Democrats were in a rush to push it through Congress. I don't even like calling it healthcare reform because it's more about insurance than it is actual healthcare (and it fucks up lots of shit in that industry).

And have no assets to pay the bill. But this is America, and the interests will get the money regardless (because they're not allowed to refuse service) -- if not from you then the next higher order. Guess who pays that higher order; tax payers.
It's pathetically sad how utterly clueless people that don't bother paying for insurance are. The penalty (which isn't anything in reality) was designed as incentive to stop being a leech to the system -- because that's what you are when you don't have insurance in America. Companies and interests will be paid regardless, the government protects them from that loss; if you can't pay it then everyone else does in one form or another.
No one likes Big Brother to force them to do something, but if the person is too much of a child to take responsibility for their own being -- and as a result creates a further unnecessary draw on everyone else -- then someone must do it for them.

The fuck you rambling about?
Healthcare paid over taxes has been proven to work, it's because of conservatives in the US there's no good public healthcare in the US.
It's like watching two men threatening to burn each other with a zippo while standing up to their knees in gasoline.
Well that's what socialized healthcare is.

Which is fine and dandy but over half our population does not pay income taxes and only pays taxes on things they buy, which they get back anyway since they make no money. So everyone else who does pay taxes is gonna get taxed even more, and then theres the bullshit where if you do not take the government health care you get fined, and if you don't pay the fine you go to jail. My parents are really worried that they won't be able to pay for the healthcare insurance when it finally rolls out. I really would there to be a nationalized standardized healthcare system in America, but I do not think that the way its currently being done is the way to go.
I seriously can not believe we are already looking at another shut down.

the aca was a bipartisan bill designed to fuck over everyone for the profit of capitalists in the private healthcare insurance industry. obama is not the one solely deserving blame.
Shit, and my clothing allowance was coming next month too. Dammit congress, get your act together, I hate seeing this really dumb bickering and "riders" that link non-associated bills together in order to sneak legislation by. This is out of control.

Yeah that's a lie. Sure, some may be, but so are Democrats. I, for one, know of MANY Republicans(Including me) who want the best for the country. Don't tell us we don't care about the country just because we have different beliefs. I know that I, and plenty other Republicans, love this country to death. Our beliefs in what we think is best for the country, however, is different than Democrats.

wow is this the first person on fp that openly identifies as a republican?
i mean there are conservative people, but generally they identify as "independents" or "libertarians"

Don't see why I need to hide the fact that I'm a Conservative Republican. It's who I am and what I believe in, and if people don't like that then, well, I don't care.
btw if you think this is funny; these are the people that the entire world economy is relying on, and they're perfectly willing to bring their government to the brink of shutdown purely to take away healthcare from vulnerable people
we're all truly fucked

And this cycle of near misses will continue until it actually happens.
And I thought politics in my country were bad.
It's that time of the year again!!!
Government is a joke, my goodness. We're gonna fuck everyone over cause of fucking OBAMACARE? Fuck it all, this country man..
