• Bioware: PC is 'made for gaming'

Assuming you're going to buy a PC anyway for internet etc. the cost of a mid tier gaming PC probably isn't much more than an console+PC. You get other advantages on a gaming PC too. Faster processors make everything nicer to deal with and you can get nice deals on Steam sales.
Why do people call Windows computers PCs...and Mac OS computers Macs They're both PCs (personal computers)
One is more program friendly. What that means is that Windows PC's have more popular games at a cheaper price than the Mac systems.
This image can be misleading because I don't want to be a guido Fabio.
That's okay since you're a PC you can just edit it unlike a console. And Mac aren't PC because Steve Jobs owns it, you're just licensed it clearly.
Bioware is fucking awesome.
That's okay since you're a PC you can just edit it unlike a console.
Fucking boss
This is why Valve, Bioware, and Crytek are the only devs I care about.
lol console noobs got owned, this further proves the superiority of pc gaming over console
you aren't helping
I only buy pc games i can play on my prebuilt
Except that on the PC you need to spend $1600 on a halfway decent gaming platform.
My computer cost me $760 and it can play every game there is on at least medium settings. :eng101: I hate how people think good gaming PCs cost so much.
What are you guys debating about now
Bioware is great for now, but the MMORPG they are developing will drive them down into the ground because of Lucas Arts.
Pcs are not meant for gaming it's cheaper to buy an xbox then upgrade your computer
I use my Console for everything my computer can't run. I feel like upgrading a PC is more of a hassle than to just go out and buy a console. It also take a bit more technological know-how.
Bioware has got it right.
Consoles were made for games too I think. Maybe I'm wrong. I don't know.
Consoles were made for games too I think. Maybe I'm wrong. I don't know.
No silly, consoles were made to check your email and surf the web and do school work. PCs were made for gaming from the start, clearly.
I love Valve and Bioware. <3
gaming really begun on the console anyway we were cruising along with our amateurish C64's till the NES came along
You have to consider an average joe can't just go on newegg, order specific parts and build a computer themselves easy
Why not buy a book about assembling a computer while you're out it?
Why not buy a book about assembling a computer while you're out it?
Because then it ends up being far more expensive than a console and several games.
Why not buy a book about assembling a computer while you're out it?
because those suck the only way you'll learn putting components together is by doing i used to work in a computer shop and a lot of people didn't know what they were doing so they brought their damaged goods to the store. turns out a lot of people didn't know that AGP needs a click to let you know it's seated
Don't forget consoles need a TV, and most people end up buying a 2,000$ one.
Don't forget consoles need a TV, and most people end up buying a 2,000$ one.
Generally you own a TV anyways though, so I don't imagine that should factor into the cost.
Don't forget consoles need a TV, and most people end up buying a 2,000$ one.
not really HD tv's are pretty cheap now and like 50% of America owns one
Because then it ends up being far more expensive than a console and several games.
Building your own PC is not difficult, I don't know why this is such a hard concept. A little research, some googling, and a few tutorials is all you need. ~$700 is enough for a nice machine, it's totally worth it. On Topic: If it wasn't for some of the exclusives, I would gladly ditch consoles all together and stick to PC/Portable gaming.
700 Dollars = A good machine 300 Dollars = A good console
the PC will last longer though
Except that on the PC you need to spend $1600 on a halfway decent gaming platform.
What. You can get an awesome computer for less than half that.
the PC will last longer though
Yes and no Usually new consoles come in a five to ten year cycle. In five to ten years, your PC won't be as good as it was. As for problems with consoles dying, PCs die all the time too.
