Gummylamb is a bad poster. And never has a point. Thisispain is a good poster, that people rarely understand.
I'm only a bad poster because I don't care to be a good one :(
:allears:
goodday sir
Probably all AMD right? Bang for the buck.
Why yes it is.
gummylamb you better PM TheSpy
you make me laugh. See you next time on Internet Drama
Now Bioware can join Valve and Blizzard in taking over the gaming world :buddy:
Thisispain is usually right about p.much everything. It's a waste of time arguing.
PC's aren't made for gaming, but they are the best for gaming
Thisispain is usually right about p.much everything. It's a waste of time arguing.
that's arguable
You do know it's spelled grammar, right?
You know it can be spelt either way, right?
Why do people call Windows computers PCs...and Mac OS computers Macs They're both PCs (personal computers)
The personal computer (PC) is officially defined as any computer system based on 8051 architecture, which has been the standard since the early days of IBM. I agree that the naming convention is basically a crock of shit, but what you gonna do.
Well, then, why haven't they released an SDK for Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 yet? PC gaming isn't just about the interface, it's also about tweaking, modifying and creating. If Morrowind is still being played to this day it's because there's an SDK for it, same goes with Oblivion and Fallout 3, those are great examples, and BioWare aren't stupid, they did it with Dragon Age: Origins, but if they want to be consistent they have to do it for most of their games, at least recent ones. But, with that said, it's good to hear something like that coming from a renown developer.
You know it can be spelt either way, right?
Yeah, but one is wrong.
I agree that PCs are great for gaming, but I can't afford all the parts to upgrade when a console will play any game that comes out for it with a single $300 fee.

Except that on the PC you need to spend $1600 on a halfway decent gaming platform.
Common misconceptions abound here. I have seen fully built PCs with great parts that will run ANY game on pretty good settings for $800. The bonus is, these PCs are built with later expansion in mind, meaning you can easily pick up anything you might need later. The one thing I would personally suggest swapping out if you plan to upgrade one of these is the power supply. Aim high with power, because new CPUs and video cards eat power like a mother fucker.
You have to consider an average joe can't just go on newegg, order specific parts and build a computer themselves easy
Actually, aside from installing the motherboard and CPU, the majority of the parts are quite easy to install. But if you don't want to risk it, you can usually get the computer put together and working for $30-50 depending on where you go. Hit the local PC shops, DO NOT GO TO FUTURE SHOP/BEST BUY/etc
super mario sucks on the PC
Buy a controller... which you can then use for any game on your PC. I have a $25 controller I use for all my emulator shit, and also for fighting games, and even occasionally flight sims (I was surprised by how well a dual-joystick controller works for flight sims)
I bought a Gaming PC (w/ 21.5" monitor, 1920x1080) on sale for £500 and it runs all the games I play at the highest settings.

Or because of some licensing crap with Epic. Who knows?
I'll start enjoying bioware games when they give me the ability to fucking jump. something about games where you can't jump makes them feel really synthetic, and genuinely takes a lot of enjoyment out for me. what turned me off of ME was that all I did was walk from one end of the city to the other, have a few minutes of semi-interesting dialogue and then send me back straight away. They're good at making stories but they don't half suck at non-combat gameplay.

Is everyone missing the extra added value of mods and stuff for PC games that don't make it to consoles? I bit myself in the ass getting an laptop for gaming (Stupid I know) But I still get decent quality graphics for up to date games. If I could upgrade my laptop, I would jump but I don't think the XPS M1530 is upgradable.
