Difficult to do when trying to pull a Daryl Davis when both sides are willing to get very aggressive for not falling in line 124 percent. One side is about disrespecting people based on skin color. The other is about being disrespectful towards every thing else under the guise of compassion. Both sides seem to legitimize abuse and disrespect towards people not in their group and towards different targets, but its disrespect and abuse non the less.

Its very difficult to have respect towards two groups of people who seem incapable of giving it and use their views to express and legitimize their innate nastiness
