are you really trying to spin understanding your own joke as an accomplishment really [editline]5th November 2011[/editline] FYI that's like me touting my fantastic ability to breath and walk at the same time
It is amazing, really, it is. Nobody has ever called me something so... positive before. Usually its just "idiot" "subhuman scum" or something similar. Cause, I mean, I'm obviously a republican. I mean look at me. I pay taxes and like money, so I must hate babies, gays, and poor people. You calling me sentient makes all of it worth it. :tear:
So instead what you're saying is that you like money and paying taxes more than babies, gays, and poor people?
-inhales slowly- no. I'm saying that every time I try and defend anything remotely close to conservatism, i'm painted as a bible thumping mega-conservative super-republican and people reply with "So what damage do gays cause then?" and "So you hate poor people then?" and my personal favorite "I want you to look a minimum wage part time worker in the eye and tell him its his fault he has that job". Even better, every time I say "Hey, I'm not a republican, i'm kinda inbetween" it either gets ignored or responded to with "Of course you are, don't lie" as if there is no other alternative to bleeding heart liberalism than to be a bible-snorting mega republican.
you can't call people that word its mean and hurtful! think about everyone elses feelings please. brb drafting legislation to ban that word.
brb modifying legislation to protect use of the word by people with religious reasons.

Because stuff like this
Wooow. Okay, sorry, but I couldn't help but laugh my ass off at this post. It makes good points, but it still bleeds liberalism and is therefore funny to me. My father and I were liberals up until the point we started paying taxes and started wondering where our tax money actually goes. Shit got real for us when that happened.
where you need to clarify your point later
Uh... Not a thing? I said we were liberals up until that point. Now we aren't as liberal, but I never said we were devoted republicans. Jeez.
doesn't really help. It'd be better if you clarified in the first post, before people instantly claimed you were republican.
Something tells me that when he loses, he's gonna pull a Tommy Wiseau and say yeah yeah it was all a joke.

I said something that could might maybe be construed as a total conservative view, and people took it and ran with it. I've tried clarifying that I'm not republican, but nobody seems to care and instead asks me things that aren't even related to either the topic of discussion or my opinions. Should I just open everything I say here with "i'm not a republican, BUT:" from now on? Or perhaps get a title that says it? Jeez.
instead of uh winning about how people think you are republican, how about instead saying why you aren't a republican? you're doing a great job at making people hate you for being annoying
She may be right, but all she's done is convince me even more thoroughly that she's insane.
She may be right, but all she's done is convince me even more thoroughly that she's insane.
How does making a tongue-in-cheek article about the silliness of one of the candidates for President of the United States of America, convince you that the pundit is insane? Especially if she is right?
Maybe Cain is neither stupid nor satire. This guy is incredibly intelligent, he was a mathematician in ballistics, CEO of Godfathers, Deputy Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, and was CEO/President of National Restaurant Association as well. Maybe he understands marketing and advertising so well that he is able to construct a personality that American voters love. [editline]5th November 2011[/editline] Which really says more about American voters' intelligence then it does Cain's own intelligence.
Your first post in this thread includes, A joke that doesnt make sense so you had to explain it, The claim that you wanted to defend "this" which I can only assume means Herman Cain, The assertion that you need to get to be stupid enough to defend "this" against us. How are we supposed to take this fuck-up of a post seriously
Thats fuckin hilarious. I'm gonna laugh so hard if he turns out that he ain't serious. I'd love for me to come in here and defend this too, but I don't feel like getting me to be stupid enough and defend this against an entire board of awkward flying birds.
If you ask me, the Pokemon bit connected a lot with younger demographics, something the Republican party has always had difficulty with.
I thought he was a joke ever since I heard that Sim City shit.

He is like the ultimate Poe, if it's true he's a bloody genius.
I though it was obviously after the 9-9-9 plan...
