Uh, no. Not at all.
Just make her president already, whats the worst that can happen.
Worst president in a long, long time.
It's not a particulary hot subject in the UK since we don't have a codified one :v: Also, Bachmann is saying she wants to remove the ability of the Federal Goverment to define education, and it's fairly obvious what I've mentioned isn't fair off the mark of what she wants.
yea she's backwards and retarded, it's just that you BLOODY FOREIGNERS don't know how our system works.
"Why do we have a Department of Education?"
I think she answered her own question there. So that kids don't grow up to be complete fucktards like her.
Why do the republicans always have token milfs run?
"Why do we have a department of education? What is education? What are departments? What is what? Can someone help me put my pants on? Please? What are pants? I'm running for what? President? What is running? Help"

We were busy inventing sandwiches instead of fighting you chaps, and to be honest it seems to have stuck. I mean, ham and mustard sandwich or US constitutional law? For one thing the sandwich is easier to buy in a supermarket.
Why do the republicans always have token milfs run?
Because at the moment old white men, especially those of the republican persuasion, are not wanted in America's government. Everyone wants their own Barack Obama. And a surprisingly large number of younger republicans happen to be women for some reason.
I hope she keeps it up so she can guarantee she will never be elected for anything again.
You severely underestimate the stupidity and blind fear-driven hate of the American population.
for fuck's sake what are people like her doing in the 21st century
[editline]6th September 2011[/editline]
...or, y'know, you could move to the UK and just speak english
He said he'd move to Europe, not to "that island that doesn't know whether or not it's actually part of europe",

Oh my god. Ham and Mustard is so awesome.

The last frame before the camera man made the cut...
And look at that, every prediction was a Republican!
I believe that's because the polls are for Republican candidates, I don't think they poll democrats in the Iowa Straw Polls.

Right, but I mean that's indicative of just how poor of a prediction it is. It gives the other candidate literally no credit.
Ah, right, cut schools. Let parents teach their kids to follow the path of our Most Righteous and Holy God Lord Jesus Christ Amen Hallelujah, and eradicate any traces of Science from our society.

Why are you a candidate?
I just have a question, what could possibly be the worst thing that could happen if we let the states themselves dictate their own education, other than there not being a one standard in education?
In my opinion, there wouldn't be a "quality control" type of thing. Some states, maybe just a few but that's still worrying, would probably try to teach creationism instead of evolution. Not to mention history, the Constitution, and etc. I'm not saying having one, big standard is automatically the best, but some states are still heavily homophobic. I wouldn't trust them to teach a child anything.

realistically if they wanted to, that is a-okay
do you have something against religious freedoms?
I'm excited for when these dumb old fucks die and let our generation do the smarter of things

This...is so fucking true. I mean WTF, women are supposed to be the least likely people to be Republicans, yet most young Republicans are white, dumb (but hot) girls. Allot of them are feminists too, despite being Bible-thumpers.
How can you think Bachmann or Palin is hot?
Urrgh, I'd rather get fucked by a rabid brown bear.

No, my problems would be more along the lines of not having a federal requirement standard of education that includes required science courses that teach evolution.
Stuff like this
https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/National_Science_Education_Standards
The idea of allowing places (i.e the bible belt) to make up their own rules of what to teach children, like teaching them out of a bronze age book as if it is proven fact that our world is 6000 years old, and having them grow up with such misinformation and leading our country in the future is worrying.
Our education system is already far behind what it should be, this is an idiotic idea to reduce our standards even further.
I'm fine with anyone believing whatever load of crap they want to believe, but I'm saying keep it out of public school education.
Uhh... Ron Paul has said the same exact thing numerous times. And yet there are still people on this very forum who practically worship the guy.
So.... would it be news if Ron Paul had said that instead of BaChmann?
Please oh please let her become president.
She is a genius, by making sure everyone is dumb in a few generations, she will guarantee that Republicans always win!

Read Facebook Politics for 10 minutes.
Abandon all hope.

Also creating brain cancer with IQ tests :v:
HAHAHAHA. Eliminating the Department of Education, that's fucking royal. In no way shape or hot dog deep throating form does that make sense.
If I had to choose between Michelle Bachmann and a rock to tell me how to accurately interpret the Constitution, I would choose the rock.
At least the rock would be making more sense.
[editline]6th September 2011[/editline]
My God, it's like she's fusing 1700s and early 1800s Constitutional philosophy together with modern times.
With that logic we might as well get rid of everything the Constitution doesn't explicitly give the federal government a right to create. Like the federal reserve.

I know you probably were intending the rock thing as a hypothetical situation, but I think I'd rather have the rock than her as president. I mean, at least the rock is a rock, and can't hold an opinion either way.
