"Might" Good enough for me.
The Swarm looks too intense for me! The Swarm is too dangerous!
Possible loss of limbs? Why not rename it the Necromorph?
This thing look scary when I saw it while they were building it in October. Looks even scarier now that its completed. Clearly a PR stunt though, they have to design the near-miss stuff with more than enough room. [editline]28th February 2012[/editline] I dunno, Stealth is a great ride but its pretty boring. The Saw ride is more exciting imo.
It's short but it gives such an Adrenaline rush, Saw by comparison is an hour and a half at least, of queuing to be flung about in the dark a bit, before the nifty 100 degree drop.
This looks crazy. I really want to get my ass down to thorpe park this summer with some friends, I haven't been there in ages.
Oh hey guys , welcome to this thing called "marketing". Remember that Alton towers coaster that was literally a kiddies coaster with a drop halfway through it (Thirteen) ? Remember what they said it was? I quote : "Every ride you've ever dreamed of in one" Sure , Swarm looks pretty grand but seems a bit... slow. Nice inversions , but just too slow to get alot of G's and airtime out of it. Now this , on the other hand , blacks people out. My kinda ride! The one time I have ridden it (the saw ride) was just after it had opened so there was no waiting.
If they ever build one in America they won't have to worry about people losing limbs. The weight of the riders should slow it down enough. :v: [editline].[/editline] Don't worry, I'm American myself.

It's genuinely the least comfortable Eurofighter there. Even Speed : No Limits , one of the first Eurofighters I believe , is still significantly smoother than Saw.
My shats have been pant.
You do not know how much more terrifying the "you're gonna HIT THAT TUNNEL OH GOD" moments are when you're 6'8" and not actually sure if you're too tall for the ride.

Well, I know what I'm doing this summer!

Am I the only pussy around who's too scared to go on any roller coaster even slightly more intense than Lightning and Thunder at Hershey Park?
Am I the only pussy around who's too scared to go on any roller coaster even slightly more intense than Lightning and Thunder at Hershey Park?
Don't worry, I'm probably a bigger pussy. Last ride I went on was when I was 9, on one of the little kiddy rides. Haven't been on a roller coaster since that day.

Turns out it was a completely irrational fear and I have no fear of rollercoasters and that I have wasted many years of my life thinking that I did. So yeah, just try it and find out.
Haha I remember going to Six Flags during the opening week of the ride. The ride's not really violent and even though the seats are flipping around during the ride you're pretty well secured. You're close enough to the fire to actually feel the intense heat, though.
It aged a lot, the seats are very bumpy now and gives me a headache everytime I go on it. Still really fun though.

I can think of at least a couple I've been on. In Six Flags Saint Louis, for instance, we've got The Batman. It's almost too intense; I come out with a headache every time, and it's not terribly uncommon for passengers to have their shoes ripped off by the G-forces. On the subject of dummy mishaps and Six Flags: the "Mister Freeze" at Six Flags Saint Louis decapitated had a curious way of decapitating its test dummies! Six Flags rocks. [editline]28th February 2012[/editline] Mister Freeze! Bombinest fuckin' coaster: Quite short, though.
All of these videos remind me of roller-coaster tycoon from when I was ten.
My spine and Neck are not ready for this
If an air-force pilot thought it was intense, then there's a very good chance of regular people passing out.
the next roller coaster tycoon should have limb ripping features
There was a roller coaster near my home town that managed to snap a riders neck killing him, and all they said about that coaster before it happened was that it was very jerky. No chance I'm getting on this thing, and I enjoy coasters.
I nearly shat myself on Stealth I really want to try this actually.
I have got to go to Six Flags at some point in my life, the only actual good theme park we have here (that I know of, please don't kill me) is Alton Towers which even then, is kind of gimmicky. Then there's Drayton Manor which is just full of gimmicks, like spending £2 to stand in a machine that blows a bit of warm air at you for 3 minutes in order to dry your clothes, or waiting an hour to get on a disappointing 30 second long ride, 10 seconds of which is spent being stationary, upside down in a loop.
when I am on a coaster, I want safety. So no thank you
when I am on a coaster, I want safety. So no thank you
Its perfectly safe, there is no way that a world leader in rollercoasters would be able to build (or even design) a rollercoaster for one of the biggest parks in the UK that is dangerous. Seriously the amount of health and safety they have to go through to build these things is insane.
