He gained 65 lbs over 12 years, and at no point during these 12 years did he consider exercising? I worked at mcdonalds when I was 16, at no point was I forced to eat food randomly coming out of the grill area to "sample" it (sounds like an excuse for the fatass to justify his cravings to eat all the food around him). Also when you go on breaks and lunches you aren't forced to eat big macs, you can bring your own food or get a salad off the menu or something healthier.

This is not an excuse, first off EVERYTHING you eat is going to increase your "caloric intake"..its up to you to eat right not blame your eating habits on your job. He did not have to eat their food and he could have brought his own lunch if he really cared about his weight and eating right.

There's a difference here in that he was an employee and might have had no other option but to constantly eat the unhealthy food.
Still not much of a case in my opinion. Since you still have a lot of options even from plain mcdonalds for a relatively healthy food. The salads work as long as you avoid the dressings for instance. And franchise managers make actually quite a bit of cash I think.
Isn't the hierarchy something like

Shift manager
Franchise manager
Franchise owner.

This is one of the more reasonable case and I would agree. He did say he felt forced to try the samples because of the secret shoppers so he obviously doesn't want to send out shit food and get fired.
Plus they give out free lunch so he probably had to eat there seeing how going out to eat would take too long and he might get fucked for being late coming back from lunch. Sure they have salads and stuff, but who the fuck wants to eat McDonald salads all the time? Plus from supersize me, if you add the whole package of dressing, it's almost as bad as the Big Mac(although it is fucking delicious)
