But it's in worse condition than the Euro.
usd is the only currency that matters, dont kid yourself
For the average person in the UK the standardised European currency had very little advantage except for the fact it was a lot easier to get money for going on holiday. I think that if each country had kept their own currencies, Pesetas, Francs, Deutschmarks, etc. the economic situations for each country would be slightly better in most cases, as they aren't tied to a single currency that is massively devalued in some countries because of their separate economies. THEN AGAIN, I have no idea what the fuck I'm on about.
danish crowns all the way guys guys [editline]23rd November 2011[/editline] horse [editline]23rd November 2011[/editline] on wheels
Don't, just don't. Netherland is thinking to get rid off it, just like some other countries and now the UK wants to get currency that is worth less then theirs? Stupid.
We really need to replace the house of lords with elected officials to prevent idiots like this guy from getting in.
This is something I've never understood. Can the House of Lords make any decisions which actually affect your nation? If so, that needs to go.
I think the UK should remain completely independent from other countries and nations.
You're just jealous that we burnt your White House down
I always thought he was British. Claims he is anyway.
This is something I've never understood. Can the House of Lords make any decisions which actually affect your nation? If so, that needs to go.
I think they can block certain bills and force them to get re-examined.
This is something I've never understood. Can the House of Lords make any decisions which actually affect your nation? If so, that needs to go.
An unelected part of government is very useful. The Government is, essentially, an dictatorship if they get a decent majority. The Lords helps defend against that. The US Supreme Court is unelected for the same reason.
Fuq da police I'll walk into a store and give them GBP if I like.

It wasn't till just now that I realized all the coins on the bottom make up the look of the shield at the top! MIND FUUUUUUUUUUUCK!
I preferred our older coin designs that each had their own markings on them.
Yeah but the Supreme Court is chosen by an elected official. There is no place for unelected officials to be dealing with legislature.
Most members of the Lords are appointed by the Commons now anyway.
I hope not.
We get the EU money, but that money goes straight into politicians' pockets. Kinda like america and their 1%. Citizens gain nothing from being in EU really.
The problem is that the EU is not your government and, IMO, it is not a proper federation. It's a mini-UN consists of 27 countries whom all fight for their own national interests. Therefore, it's elite-driven where the politicians calls the shots on what's happening, not us. I do recognise that the EU is very democratic, more democratic than ours in Britain, but what's the point if the EU is just a doll of the national governments. Citizens gain no benefits for being in the EU? You sure? Absolutely NOTHING at all?
