Then we're gonna give the rebels our guns so they can fight the loyalists that we gave guns to earlier before. :downs:
I'm just saying ammunition, food, water and medical supplies. They have the guns, they need the ammo. And its sad to see how much flak the Coalition is taking from Qaddafi's supporters and those who still feel we shouldn't be doing anything. They say it de-legitimizes the people's cause.
So now that the leader of the Arab League is being all ungrateful, some are suggesting the US may actually pull out.
1555: Activist group the Libyan Youth Movement tweets: "Qatari jets moving into positions near Libya. Involvement of Arab Jet fighters are crucial. #Libya #Feb17 #gaddaficrimes"
Is it just me or is what Qaddafi saying sound like what NK army is saying in Crysis :v: "You are criminals, the world is completely against you. Leave now or you will be arrested."
LOL just like that mishun in black ops lol! Who thought that building a plane that looked like that was a good idea? I mean it looks awesome but it's not exactly subtle
It does a km per second your argument is invalid
It does a km per second your argument is invalid
And it flies so damn high no AAA has any chance of reaching it, ever. Oh and what have I missed while I slept aside from coalition Jets fucking shit up?.
And it flies so damn high no AAA has any chance of reaching it, ever. Oh and what have I missed while I slept aside from coalition Jets fucking shit up?.
Major gains with the Rebels, they've taken back parts of the highway to Benghazi, so either way, Qadaffi's forces have no way of retreating. They'll just hit more guns.
Major gains with the Rebels, they've taken back parts of the highway to Benghazi, so either way, Qadaffi's forces have no way of retreating. They'll just hit more guns.
That is very damn good news :clint:
[img_thumb]http://imgkk.com/i/qqy5.png[/img_thumb] lookit all dem reds
So the Rebels have essentially the entire eastern half of the country under control, and also have all the major roads to the Capitol ether under control or heavily contested leaving Tripoli surrounded and cut of from loyalist forces the south. Good job Rebels.
That is very damn good news :clint:
However, its conflicting reports. I have several different maps giving me different SITREPs.
Every time Al-qaeda and insurgents take pictures and video, it's as if a Goat was taking the photo with a $5 1 time use Kodak camera made in the 80's... But these photos coming out of Libya look amazing
Haha, did anyone just catch that guy on the BBC News channel?
Husni, from Amman, writes: "I think Amr Moussa should "man up" a bit. What did he think was going to happen when the request of a no-fly-zone to protect civilians was made? If he objects to this Western intervention, I'm sure the Arab League could have requested the Egyptian army (which is more than capable of taking the Libyan army out) to intervene instead. Grow up Amr, you're better than this... the Libyan people were being slaughtered."
Airstrikes and cruise missiles do not a war make. In addition, instead of leading this effort like in Afghanistan and Iraq, the U.S. is freeing itself from the responsibility for nation-building in Libya, instead paving the way for the Libyans to do so.
There's potential. You can't bomb a country's troops and expect no retaliation.
It's funny because in that picture, that one B-2 is worth more than all those planes combined, it's also worth one HALF of one of those aircraft carriers.. I can't believe we actually used the fucking things again... Hooray! Also I'm pretty sure those aircraft carriers are the same carrier, just 3 different angles photoshopped in... They're numbered differently, but have the exact same deck layout with the aircraft as each other, everything
I'm pretty sure they're different (super?) carriers.
There's potential. You can't bomb a country's troops and expect no retaliation.
So how would the Libyans go about retaliating against the US, France, Britain, Italy, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt?
So how would the Libyans go about retaliating against the US, France, Britain, Italy, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt?
Hurrr they're brown so they'll just suicide bomb us hurr /stupidmode In all seriousness, There's no reason to oppose this intervention.
So how would the Libyans go about retaliating against the US, France, Britain, Italy, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt?
I guess the only people that would want to do that is pro Gadaffi's goons, but they will be to fucked up to actually do anything. If you mean Suicide bombing? No i don't think so either you really need pissed of people to do that, and the majority will be happy with Gadaffi gone.
Hurrr they're brown so they'll just suicide bomb us hurr /stupidmode In all seriousness, There's no reason to oppose this intervention.
No legal reason to oppose it.
That's from a tomahawk?
Well, we are talking about the cruise missile, not the throwing axe.
So how would the Libyans go about retaliating against the US, France, Britain, Italy, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt?
Apart from making suicide air attacks on France, Italy and the coalition fleet with those mediocre planes they've got, I can't really see them doing anything else.
Woo, finally some action!
Libyan government just announced another ceasefire, a "peaceful march" from Tripoli to Benghazi and what seemed to be willingness to negotiate with the National Transitional Council [editline]20th March 2011[/editline] The Libyan army claims it will enact a ceasefire across Libya 6 minutes from now. I don't see why they'd do another fake ceasefire, it wouldn't achieve even a short break in coalition activity.
They will still control the air. Wouldn't they rather send a diplomatic envoy?
Hmmm, interesting.
He probably wants the coalition to keep up the attacks just so he can go "Look! See! I'm the victim! I called a ceasefire but they kept attacking! They're bad, help me!" Not that hard to figure out.
A good read: http://www.stratfor.com/analysis/20110319-libyan-war-2011?utm_source=SpecialReport&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=110319a&utm_content=readmore&elq=edddf4fde67f4224a624d3a04762afb3
first Gadaffi says it will be a long war and now they're holding a cease fire :v: Right. [editline]20th March 2011[/editline] He's being doing shit like that since the beginning of this.
LOL just like that mishun in black ops lol! Who thought that building a plane that looked like that was a good idea? I mean it looks awesome but it's not exactly subtle
You just said the worlds most advanced spy plane is not subtle? You fucking idiot...
CNN Naval Commentator on Tomahawks "The Tomahawk is so accurate you can choose which window to fly it through."
