Windows 7 supports my 2560x1440 monitor, what difference does changing the res on first install make, I just image my Windows drive and restore the latest backup when I install. That's great, you get "Cloud" synchronization ,Metro applications, which are very useful features to people who aren't me  .
You get a faster and more efficient OS. What more reasons do you really need in order to upgrade?
The Task Manager is sexy and much better organized and shows much more information in a better way. It boots and shuts down faster which is always nice even if we have time to wait.
