Somehow I doubt that even if it was a UN ship, they'd have let it pass. The blockade is illegal and wrong.
You left out the part were they were beating the soldiers - I wouldn't bold the unarmed bit and act like you just won the argument and saved the Palestinians from oppression.
Thanks for the dumbs, I guess you can't represent both views fairly, seriously these Israeli threads are getting more bigoted than the actual Israeli Government.
That doesn't really justify gunning down 9 people.
;31808654']Israel was inforcing a blockaid. If the people on the boat didn't want to get raided, they should have followed the law. After that they even attacked the soldiers.
The blockade was illegal.
Hey let's ship stuff to a terrorist organisation that inflict harm to another country and themselves!
Yeah, no

No it's not. It's not necessary. There are many other options open to them. They could have easily sent out a small patrol boat and searched all the goods in a friendly manner. Took away stuff they didn't want, and then let them go and distribute goods under armed guard.
Instead, they shot 9 people who weren't armed with anything more than metal poles they ripped off the ship earlier. They dragged them away, stole all their camera equipment and imprisoned them.
Then they made a website showing off all the 'illegal/dangerous goods' they seized. What did they find? Farming tools, seeds, rope... humanitarian goods. Nothing remotely dangerous unless you're MacGuyver.
They completely fucked it up.

We're giving you dumbs because you're ignoring the facts and instead compared apples to oranges without any sort of contextual argument.
You just made yourself look like an idiot.
