Uh yeah, gj. She started campaigning AFTER she fucking got cancer. I would be impressed if she did it before she got cancer but really she didn't give a shit before it started affecting her.
Maddox wrote an article on this ages ago and it's really bullshit that you respect someone for stuff like this. I guess it's better that she campaigned for awareness rather than sitting on her ass but honestly it doesn't really make me view her as a better person at all.

As much as I disliked her greatly as a person when she were alive; you can't really belittle her by saying she only started campaigning after she got cancer therefore she sucks. It takes an actual experience for some people to genuinely understand how an illness can affect somebody and their family, and to what extent. She probably had a vague idea, as much as we all do, but not a first-hand experience.
It's a shame that it took her the contraction of the illness to start campaigning, but I'm glad she did in the end, because she did do quite a lot for the cause.
Just like you are aware of cancer, but aren't campaigning now; just as most people here. Have a bit of empathy.

Thank god i only get reception for SBS, ABC 1 to ABC news 24, 10, One, Eleven and channel 7 every once in a blue moon. Channel 9 just ruins everything that use to be good, I mean they even ruined Saturday Night Live for Big Brother and that was the only reason people watched it anyways.
