?
South Australia has previously indicated it will also scrap the current MA15+ , meaning all violent games will be restricted to adults.

while games containing extreme violence will continue to be refused classification and banned from sale altogether
Call me a pessimist but it seems to me this won't change a damn thing, they're just going give MA15+ a different name with higher age restrictions.
Some dumbfuck NSW politician said this law wont come into effect in NSW, meaning we're the only state without it. What the fuck?

1.Convert Australia to Communism.

How the hell is that a profit?
Now we have to get germany out of the medieval times and have finally a world where videogames don't suffer from being censored or forbidden.
Unfortunately, I never see that happen to germany.
ABC news 24 just had to mention that the guy responsible for the attacks in Oslo and on Utoya played violent videogames, and something along the lines of "Australia should re-think the r18+ rating in light of these events".
But that's from some news network who know squat about games, so hopefully it's nothing.

I play video games and beat up some kid at school, I think we better rethink even having Video games

What you talking about boy?
That FP meme was never funny, nor will it be now or ever.
Anyway, glad to see Australia gets to play L4D2 the same way I, an American do.
Sadly, if I were to play L4D2 with an Australian one of us would lag, and I don't have any Australians on my friends list.

I'm pretty sure that meme started with South Park, moved to 4chan, and then moved here.
Censoring video games is just as bad as censoring books or film.
by extreme violence i like to think they mean extremely detailed violence such as in soldier of fortune 2

A while back there was an article wherein a dad let his really young son play GTA4. The kid drove around the streets safely and was horrified at his dad when he suggested he run some people down. I think he got upset when he accidentally killed somebody too.
Don't bother asking for a source. Find it yourself if you want it because I don't have a clue.
Violent games don't need to be violent experiences.
putting gore on won't make me want to play L4D2, it's pretty much a large, expensive expansion pack for L4D1

5 dollars (on sale ) is expensive. lol.
Keep on rollin' sonny, you stand up for your ideals no matter how retarded and outdated they are.

Don't worry
"THE Norwegian gunman committed such devastation because he was a madman, not because he played violent video games, Home Affairs Minister Brendan O'Connor says."
