1. Get rid of the old government
2. Become the new government
Now they just have to get to step 2, and fungi and insects have already been there. I remember that one fungus that infected ants, mind-controlled them, led them away from the colony to a safe place, and then built its body by eating through the ant body.
Forgive me if it's off topic, but this kinda thread and title are bound to attract certain topics.

Get out.
Oh jeez, that sucks, average survival rate is 3% and there have been around 300 cases, so only 9 people have survived this.
I could swear this exact "phenomenon" was spread across sensationalist news sites last summer. And probably the summer before that.
Dear Parasites
Please stop burrowing in our bodies and devouring us from the inside out, it's terrifying, cut it out.

Oh no wait, my father is a microbiologist and he told me the only way to catch it is to drink from a small stagnant pool of dirty water that's been sitting out in the hot sun for a while.
It's called naegleria.

I fucking love Chris Rock
[sp]Joke[/sp]
I'm guessing the media is over-exaggerating this, like they do with every other disease.
Nobody should swim in any water that is stigmatic. Stigmatic water tends to have extreme amounts of bacteria. They can also contain rare, but dangerous amoebas that can potentially cause death. This amoeba has been identified in the 1960s. There has only been around 120 cases, most of which lead to death. It travels up the nose, burrows into the skull and destroys brain tissue.
One of the many things I wouldnt mind on my tombstone:
Died by brain-eating parasite.

Boil water before you drink it in the wild.
Unless it's like, rainwater.
Rainwater is bitchin'.
3rd case
The third case, in Louisiana, was more unusual. It was a young man whose death in June was traced to the tap water he used in a device called a neti pot. It's a small teapot-shaped container used to rinse out the nose and sinuses with salt water to relieve allergies, colds and sinus trouble.
Health officials later found the amoeba in the home's water system. The problem was confined to the house; it wasn't found in city water samples, said Dr. Raoult Ratard, Louisiana's state epidemiologist.
The young man, who was only identified as in his 20s and from southeast Louisiana, had not been swimming nor been in contact with surface water, Ratard added.
He said only sterile, distilled, or boiled water should be used in neti pots.
Because it makes so much sense to be angry at a fucking virus.
You've got to realize that when people get angry over people killing dogs/cats/whatever without any real reason, the anger is not over a cat/dog dying, the anger is over the fact that some sick fuck decided to end a life in the most painful way possible. If the OP was about some sick-fuck burning/raping children to death, then I can assure you that most of FP would be up in fucking flames.
This was not the case, though, it's sad, undoubtedly, but what is there to get angry about?
With this said, ofcourse it's not fucking OK to throw puns and shitty jokes around.
