according to wikipedia you have to snort water to get this disease so its not as if swimming in your local pool is gonna make something eat your brain
This is considered news? It happens every year. Kid goes to lake where water is above a certain temperature. Kid stirs up mud on the lake bottom. Kid gets water up his/her nose. Kid dies from the amoebas.
In short: Stick to chlorinated pools.
Doesn't matter if a person doesn't go swimming or come into contact through fresh water, all it needs is tap water from a home system.
You cannot escape. :v:
L4D3 anyone? ^^
But realy, i wouldnt like to have somone i knew being eaten by some parasite D:
Virginia huh?
Guess where I live?
Never leaving the house again ever.
Surprised no-one posted a big HD super detailed picture of such parasite.
The creek where I live is freezing so I don't think I need to worry about this.
