I'm pretty sure that'd make the situation ironic.
It could probably be considered an ironic statement, but the situation would not be ironic
It could probably be considered an ironic statement, but the situation would not be ironic
Situashun not ironic but statement ironic? LOL IRONY
ITT: people argue over the meaning of irony. Which causes there to be no zombie-related puns in the thread. Not sure if that's ironic or not.
Not sure if that's ironic or not.
It isn't.
What's this going on about ironing zombies?
What a mortifying story.
i would have got out the car and pretended to be a zombie if i was ok
who let them zombies drive our cars
it's lucky witnesses didn't think the people in the crash had died and thus were real zombies
If you don't think this is ironic, you need to educate yourself a bit.
Your avatar. The fuck?
Must of been a thriller.
More like:
Saved. This article is just hilarious.
Brains.
If they are dead, MUST KILL ZOMBIE GOASTS
For some reason, I pictured this happening in Portland. Turns out that's where it was. [editline]03:54AM[/editline]
More like:
It's not ironic, it's just a funny situation. It would be ironic if they were on their way to a Mothers Against Drunk Driving meeting and they got hit by a drunk driver.
Good old Portland. I love this state.
It's ironic, they dressed up as if they were dead, and as a result of it, they could very well have ended up as so.
We'll just go to the Winchester and wait for this to all blow over.
Oh irony, how I love you.
They weren't dressed as zombies, they were zombies! Don't they see it?!
It would be irony if they were dressed as driving instructors.
While everyone in the car was taken to the hospital, Stewart said crews are investigating the possibility that more people were in the car at the time of the crash but fled the scene on foot.
Oh god! The infection is spreading! :byodood:
Here I thought the story was going to mention them meandering around in confusion as onlookers blow them away with shotguns.
It's ironic, they dressed up as if they were dead, and as a result of it, they could very well have ended up as so.
How could they have ended up dead by looking undead? Are the paramedics in your area so lazy that they just downright refuse to pick up dead people? Regardless, that isn't what irony means. They got into an accident while looking like they had severe injuries, and exactly what was expected happened. Nothing ironic about this at all.
It's dramatic irony in the sense that the people in the car knew they were dressed as undead with fake injuries and the people who rescued them didn't. You people need to pay attention in English class :colbert:

And I can guarantee you that the people who saw them and thought they were seriously injured found out what was going on long before you did. Yes, you could call it dramatic irony if you wanted to be wrong.
