The little boy is most likely going to be disfigured from the multiple stab wounds inflicted to his face if his does make it through. Depends. Sometimes it's an insane person doing something religiously-motivated because they feel that what they're doing is right. Sometimes it's an insane person just trying to find an excuse to murder someone.
Either way, she was mentally unstable. So we can only hope that people don't make this an issue of religion.
Otherwise we'll just divide ourselves even further.
