I wouldn't consider weapons to be fun but whatever fits in your luni's head I guess
guns are my life, pal. get the heck out!
I wouldn't consider weapons to be fun but whatever fits in your luni's head I guess
Have you ever fired a weapon? It's quite fun actually. It's also not cool to group everyone who likes firearms into killers. Thats like calling everyone who owns a car a lunatic because you can effectively severely hurt or kill someone by running them over. [editline]20th November 2014[/editline] Nvm saw your posts

[img_thumb]http://pearlsofprofundity.files.wordpress.com/2013/03/olympic-trap-1.jpg[/img_thumb]
oh thanks it's rare to hear about these events when the olympics are on, maybe they're the ones channels usually don't show due to the heavy schedule
I possibly said it wrong. I meant that if you are attacked by a guy with a knife and you shoot him in self defence then he can very possibly assure the court that it was you who attacked him. The problem how hard it is to prove that you were defending yourself. Not just in the pistol case, in any case.
That I agree with. There're a couple of norms here and there that are also quite contradictive when it comes to practice. For example, it's common knowledge that calling the police (and possibly ambulance) right after the encounter can be very advantageous. But at the same time, self-defense is often defined by courts and prosecutors as something you do to escape danger. Makes sense, right? But the problem is, if you were able to run away without physical encounter even starting, and the attacker's defense attorneys will be able to prove it, you might easily be charged with going overboard and then prosecution will easily make an attacker out of you. And if you ran after incapacitating the attacker (like you're expected to), and their friends (or they themselves, or even a bystander) called ambulance, you're done. You're now an attacker just because you ran away. Even though you're expected to. And nothing's going to help you. And that bystander, who called the police? His testimony will be disregarded as misinterpretation. This rises a big problem with both definitions in laws, as well as flawed nature of our justice system. The prosecutors don't give a fuck who to put behind bars. They aren't interested in defending your rights as a victim, if the flow of the process changes due to attacker's defense being capable, prosecution won't even bat an eye before turning on you if that looks easier and faster. Prosecution doesn't care about you, they're not there to defend victims, they're there to imprison people. They want people closed up, who gets the short end of the stick doesn't concern them one bit.
I didn't call anyone a killer, I called OP a lunatic for acting like weapons are a toy, you don't want people like that with guns, now do you
guns are a hobby hobbies can be fun I don't see the problem here.
You guys aren't seeing the side of this I am, those "We love Russia" videos will be brought up a notch with this. They can't be trusted with vehicles and vodka, guns and vodka will make it very interesting indeed. Or what if They mix them all together...
guns are a hobby hobbies can be fun I don't see the problem here.
that's why you are talking about something I'm not even arguing about people with guns = OK OP acting like guns are toys = irresponsible
that's why you are talking about something I'm not even arguing about people with guns = OK OP acting like guns are toys = irresponsible

Either way though, welcome to the fun club Russia.
gwoodman i think you're overreacting
that's not the whole sentence he made but maybe I am [editline]20th November 2014[/editline] but guns aren't toys and you should use them responsibly either way, let's avoid arguments
Idk OP, I don't consider concealed carry frightening. Like guns for sporting/collecting fun, but if I'm packing heat I'm always afraid for my life
do you even know jack shit about this piece of legislation? I know some clauses allow for gun registration essentially but it's good in purpose
Our government isn't going to ratify it, and the Senate/House are already threatening to shut it down completely. We already have hundreds of papers dedicated to arms treaties, and it's already proven to be ineffective at doing anything. I do not treat firearms as toys, and never have. The whole, "welcome to the fun club" is just saying welcome to the hobby really.
