There is a Golden opportunity to buy right now.
the quotations are there because im only using the word "real" to humour the people that think BTC is not a real currency. when I said "real" currency im of course referring to centralized currencies like USD
Sorry, I've always had trouble understanding things with technology related, still needing to link to a bank account? Take my Social Security while you're at it.
Man, reading this thread makes me wish I was still young enough to get mad at epic memes.
Isn't that screenshot fake?
I capped that myself from coinmine but yeah there was a glitch in the system that caused the spike haha, combined with the whole editorial on the verge
Red Alert! Shields up!

If you're sketchy about going online exchanging your BTC for money which you want to put into your bank account, there are exchanges that support paypal, and all exchanges support paypal variants.
I think it comes from /g/, which hates buttcoins. 4chan as a whole hates doge (even though I'm pretty sure they started it). Makes sense to combine two horrible things to make a parody of both
In 4chans defense I'm pretty certain doge came from tumblr. 4chan just used the shibe as a reaction image and then tumblr decided to throw random words on it. Would explain why it's so awful but still going strong.
I'm sketchy about everything about it. You have to buy hardware to get the coins, etc.
Okay you really are paranoid as fuck, I'm not even messing here. Assuming you never pool, or sign up to exchanges, the only time network communication should be used is when syncing with the blockchain and downloading your workload. As soon as your hardware is done processing you have things that aren't actually tied to you as a person, merely to a hash. Nothing about that identifies you unless you let people know that is your hash. Unless you buy yourself some pre-bugged hardware (which accounts for 0% of the market), these things are pretty much totally anonymous outside of actions you yourself take.
Okay you really are paranoid as fuck, I'm not even messing here.
No, it doesn't make sense to me that people don't want to legitimately work for their money.
No, it doesn't make sense to me that people don't want to legitimately work for their money.
Well that's more reasonable :v: Though I totally dislike cryptocurrency as currency I wouldn't say they are doing 100% nothing for it. To mine anything worthwhile is ludicrously expensive now. You cannot do it on standard hardware unless it's a new cryptocurrency or just a shit one, your electricity bills shoot up if you take it remotely seriously. You pay a lot for a small chance to make money. Outside of mining it's almost exactly like trading stocks, but even more retarded on several levels thanks to there being nothing but pure speculation of demand backing it.
Imagine this. There is 7,5 billion dogecoins. When it reaches enough in value, it should buy sufficient amount of gold in one go. All the gold will then be smelt again into 7.5 billion tangible pieces. And finally, everybody in the world will be given one.
watch all the people who missed out on bitcoin buy millions of these and ruin their lives [editline]16th December 2013[/editline] though if this also turns people into millionaires i'll consider killing myself
I had the opportunity to drop a few hundred on BTC back when it was about 4-5 dollars a pop. Should I kill myself?
No, it doesn't make sense to me that people don't want to legitimately work for their money.
Why would one not want easy money?
Can't tell if it's a pile of rocks or a pile of shit on that banknote.
Obviously its shit, because rocks would give an inaccurate impression of the note's worth.
isn't that fuckin great we live in a time where we can fucking throw up currency for whatever the hell we want
isn't that fuckin great we live in a time where we can fucking throw up currency for whatever the hell we want
You can call whatever you want currency, that doesn't make it one mind. It may trick total morons into "investing" into it mind, so there is still money to be made if you're a total dick,
isn't that fuckin great we live in a time where we can fucking throw up currency for whatever the hell we want
yeah what a time we should come up with a name for this time how about "always"
yeah what a time we should come up with a name for this time how about "always"
"hey, do you have the time?" "always"
"hey, do you have the time?" "always"
"Thanks a bunch, man"
"hey, do you have the time?" "always"
"do you have the time" "the digital era" ???
