Spectre is massively overbudget and may be the most expensive film ever made
So, I know people will disagre with me, but I really miss the older James Bonds
They had some epic smugness to them missing from the new ones. Even Goldeneye, which I consider to be the last good James Bond movie, had that feeling left. Some of the Roger Moore ones were really cheesy and bad, but they all fit the formula each time while adding awesome villians, gadgets, and locations.
I've tried to watch the new ones, but they seem so blackbuster-ified. Especially hearing about how ambitious this one is. I REALLY like Christoph Waltz though, so maybe I'll see it just for him.
Sorry if I don't make much sense, as a kid who really loved James Bonds the new movies just don't do it for me. They are definitely good movies but not the same James Bond I like
Do not want to disagree or something, but you sound like people who outright reject the existance of Star Wars Episode I-III
Sounds like the inner workings of just about everywhere :v:
Basically, yeah. A lot of "professional" people are just as shitty at their jobs as the 16-year-old working the drive through.
Lazenby was great, it was only his agent that was fucking ruined him from not reprising his role as Bond. He had acouple great post-bond movies too but not much after those.
he basically melted down durring and after filming james bond, between rapping up and premier, he went and basically became a hippy, showed up at the premier in a beard, and burned the remaining support from the studio he had. by then the producers had already convinced Connery to come back since his fight with the studio after never say never, in the end it was partly his fault, partly politics, the studio only really ever cast him because they couldn't get Connery and were trying to prove to him that they didn't need him either, after diamonds they went and got moore who was a much easier personality to work with (though he had his quirks)
No way this is more expensive than Food Fight.
