Make the comparison between Israel and Nazis if you believe that (no matter how ridiculous it is) to be correct, then do so, but the comic only showed the Star of David, and therefore was equating Jews to Nazis, which is flat out racist.

For example, if I was to convert to Islam, I would still be an ethnic Jew, but my religion would be Islam.

And they were trying to stop the flotilla so either way, shots fired or not, the mob is pissed off. Then take into account you will unfortunately have members of that mob who will hate the IDF and attack them for no reason, which would lead to a sort of "fly with the crows get shot with the crows" type thing.
