Mitt Romney’s prep school classmates recall pranks, but also troubling incidents
the point with this incident is that if you were to ask mitt right now if he regretted doing what he did, given his strong anti-gay sentiment and the vibe that most people who are against him seem to get (that of pretty much being a prick), we are somewhat sure that he wouldn't say "I regret assaulting a person solely because they were gay"
"I regret it but I'm not against the idea."
also did you just holding down a person and cutting their hair/insulting them to unrepentant octuple murder
two of those things happened, one didnt.
hint: [sp] obama didnt kick a dog when he was 18 [/sp]
i think judging people based on their actions as high schoolers is kinda stupid because i mean, most people were assholes in high school. i still think mitt romney is a hateful ignorant piece of shit dirtbag, but i can draw that conclusion from his actions and policies in the present rather than some stupid bullying shit he did ages ago

Okay, fucking whatever. Would it matter for shit if he did? No. Does it matter if Mitt did this? Hardly.

You're right, him being a hateful ignorant piece of shit dirtbag back then has nothing to do with him a being hateful ignorant piece of shit dirtbag now.
Does it matter if Mitt did this? Hardly.
yeah it matters or mattered greatly to the person it happened to and the others it affected

So any actions you make should damn you for your life?
I guess we should be handing out more life sentences.
I'm sure it did, but I don't feel that it reflects much upon his eligibility for president.

his eligibility, no. his character though, it shows a lot about (BECAUSE ITS EVIDENT THE BIGOTRY PERSISTS)

High School is much more tame than Middle School, the hormones are not raging as hard and most teenagers at that point have a better grasp as to who they are.
So, fixed it for ya.

If his political opinions include bullying hypothetically gay kids I don't like him.

You fool you've created batman
Lou Vierling, a scholarship student who boarded at Cranbrook for the 1960 and 1961 academic years, was struck by a question Romney asked them when they first met. “He wanted to know what my father did for a living,” Vierling recalled. “He wanted to know if my mother worked. He wanted to know what town I lived in.” As Vierling explained that his father taught school, that he commuted from east Detroit, he noticed a souring of Romney’s demeanor.
Romney is kinda headfucked...
This kind of character assassination is not helping
This kind of character assassination is not helping
At this point it's not so much character assassination as character long-dead-corpse mutation.
Romney is a psychopath, so what.
oh my god what a psychopath
argument being made here is that if you physically bully someone as a dickhead teenager you will never change, which isn't right. would anyone like to own the claim that romney bullying someone as a kid means nothing has changed in 40 odd years?
p.s. being against gay marriage is not proof, i'm also against gay marriage but that doesn't mean i run around cutting the hair of gay-looking kids
So it's better to break the law (it doesn't matter if you think the law is stupid or not - it's still the law) than to bully a peer?
And this was 50 years ago. Romney wasn't running for president 50 years ago.
the law isn't morality. Are you deranged?

You're missing the whole part where what this really confirms isn't that he's a psychopath, but that he always was one. This isn't the only baby-rape-level insane shit he's done. Get a clue or stop posting.

That's not the argument. The argument is that he HASN'T changed. He has multiple ties to organizations trying to "cure" homosexuality, which have had a history of abuse and death.
If you want links to news articles, I can provide them for you.
Whatever your opinion is, don't let it lead to the abuse and death of many, many innocent children.
Every time I hear more stuff about Romney I feel that his smile is a mask and underneath there is a somewhat cruel person who only really cares about getting richer.
aka every president ever since JFK
And nothing of importance is lost.
Give me your vote... and your lunch money, punk.

I don't remember highschool being as bad in the emotional storm torrent toilet that was middle school.
breaking news: barack obama kicked a dog when he was 18, must be recurrent animal abuser lock him up
in other news all crimes are equal in consequence, according to megafat more at 11
There's a difference between kicking a dog and planning and executing assault on someone, no one wakes up and says "I'm gonna kick a fucking dog today!"
