The Higgs pretty much [I]is[/I] the God particle. It (theoretically) gives other particles their mass.

It's called the [b]god[/b] particle because it's key to our current model of the universe.
What is Half-life was just real, but in another dimension, and it only exists as a game here because the Half-Life dimension bled through to this one and into the minds of the creators of Half-Life.
And so the LHC goes wrong and opens a tear between dimension and Half-Life actually comes true.
They should activate it on Dec 12, 2012, just to mess with people.
