this is ridiculous, these scientists talking about the "higgs particle" like religious people talking about god. Not saying that all atheists talk about the higgs particle and all religious people talk about god, just the ones who do.
Stage 1 emitters activating now
Alright Gordan, your suit should keep you comfortable for all this.
Alright Gordan, your suit should keep you comfortable for all this.
Gordon, we cannot predict how long the system can operate at this level, nor how long the readings will take. Please, work as quickly as you can.
Gordon doesn't need to hear all this, he's a highly trained professional.

We turned on the automatic dissector after we got through. We sent dawkins through to get help, but he, didn't make it.
Someone grab my crowbar..
C'mon, Gordon! You trying to get me into trouble?
You've got the long airlock Mr. Freeman.
Someone has hidden my glasses again..
Is this the time we get a FlashForward then?
Why don't we reinact HL1 through text?
I killed twelve dumbass scientists and not one of 'em fought back. This sucks.
Welcome to the H.E.V. mark 4 protective system. For use in hazardous environment conditions. High-impact reactive armour activated. Atmospheric contaminant sensors activated. Vital sign monitoring activated. Automatic medical systems engaged. Weapon selection system activated. Munition level monitoring activated. Communications interface online. Have a very safe day.
On saturday: A fly lays eggs in a detector and makes it look like 50 higgs particles are all over the screen.
We better find that bastard Higgs :argh: He better not pull off any time manipulating tricks.
What if the LHC flys off out of the ground into space?
What if the LHC flys off out of the ground into space?
It gotta be the biggest thing we ever launched in space.
It gotta be the biggest thing we ever launched in space.
Yeah man those hardons they be colliding are hugeeeeee :smug:
Yeah man those hardons they be colliding are hugeeeeee :smug:
He asked what if LHC flew into space. :raise:
Good. About time. Can't believe people are still beating the Half-Life drum as soon as they hear something about the LHC.

It (theoretically) gives other particles their mass.

What is Half-life was just real, but in another dimension, and it only exists as a game here because the Half-Life dimension bled through to this one and into the minds of the creators of Half-Life. And so the LHC goes wrong and opens a tear between dimension and Half-Life actually comes true.
They should activate it on Dec 12, 2012, just to mess with people.
Someone grab my crowbar..
ew.
Hope it doesn't fuck up and break this time. I really want to see this project succeed.
10 million turns, oh god oh god
I'm just waiting for the Combine to start invading Earth. Shouldn't be long now...
They are going for beam 2 now. They better not cross the beams.
