who gives a fuck
can't believe some people are getting worked up over this its not like they went out and said, "right we NEED to get a george bush head" seriously shut up
Noone would of have noticed at all if the media didn't bring it up
The only problem here is that this really fucks up the fiction of the universe You heard it here first, the war in Iraq is canon
Clearly this is evidence of the insidious liberal agenda out to destroy freedom and god for all americans.
Do we ever see the head from the front? I looked up pictures of it from google, all of the pictures are just shots from the side... you can barely tell it has any resemblance to Bush.

This made my week!
If they were to use Obama's head, the world would be enraged
well of course they'd be outraged, they understand the huge difference between the disastrous regime of Dubya, and Obama. plus i'm sure the tea party has the "Obama's Head On a Pike" thing covered
In America they are going to problaply sue GOT producers for this, I am I right? What is the big fuzz about anyways, it doesn't look a bit like G.W.B and with that long hair and all. Why does Americans have to take everything so fvcking serious?

And why are you saying Americans are taking this serious? Hell I doubt we even give a fuck, it's just the media and the Republicans blowing a fuse.
well, media is surely making this big and it has gotten much attention awide internet and even tought this is really not that big of a deal, it made me feel like usa is seriously mad about this shit.
haha, that's pretty neat.. surprising that they admitted to making the bust, though. that side-shot is sketchy at best. i'll definitely check out the pilot for this series!

You want to watch more than just the pilot, you want to watch at least half of the first season. And its not all fighting and decapitating and blood and guts. A lot, and I mean a LOT, of it is about the politics of their world, the backstabbing and secrecy and deception and the in-fighting. There is also a fair amount of sex, particularly in the first season.
well, media is surely making this big and it has gotten much attention awide internet and even tought this is really not that big of a deal, it made me feel like usa is seriously mad about this shit.
Except the US isn't even angry at all. I'm pretty sure if we were angry about this, HBO Studios would have been burned down.
"President Bush" But he's not the president anymore.
Regardless of what your opinion on the man is, it's incredibly tacky to do such a thing.
They didn't do it on purpose, they just has some prosthetic heads lying about.
I wouldn't have noticed until I read this news article. Streisand effect proving to be correct once more.
"President Bush" But he's not the president anymore.
All previous presidents are still referred to as president. President Nixon, President Clinton, President Bush...etc.
who cares
Bronies tend to have a poor grasp of what is and isn't tacky. You know, the idea of beating off with a Twilight Sparkle plush toy until they get blisters isn't really "tacky" at all to them.
fvcking
Ave Caesar
There must be some kind of watch dog kind of person watching TV just trying to find stupid things nobody even notices to complain about.

Though I'll admit they do take a few artistic changes in those regards with the series. Like for example, they made [sp]Robert's brother that isn't Stannis [at least I think it's Robert's brother] gay[/sp], and then the scene in Little Finger's brothel, with [sp]Theon's whore playing with the foreign whore[/sp]. I certainly don't remember that part. I would have remembered that, trust me. I'm hoping they have the scenes where [sp]Cersei plays with her maid[/sp] and [sp]Daenerys plays with one of the Dothraki handmaidens[/sp] though. I can't remember what books those scenes were in, but you could tell George R. R. Martin had fun writing them. He almost become J.R.R. Tolkein there, with the amounts of detail that went into those scenes. :v:
Would be sort of a neat easter egg thing if they used fake heads of various famous people. [editline]15th June 2012[/editline] If I was a famous person I'd totally let them use my head.
I would let them use my head any time for something like that. [editline]15th June 2012[/editline]
There is also a fair amount of sex, particularly in the first season.
That's like saying the guys from ZZ Top's beards aren't too shabby.

They've said they're dividing up the third book in to two seasons though. You have a thing for lesbians, don't you?
Like for example, they made [sp]Robert's brother that isn't Stannis [at least I think it's Robert's brother] gay[/sp]
I'm pretty sure he alluded to[sp]Lord Renly and Ser Loras being gay at a few points, but the show just threw it into the open.[/sp]
I've got the first four books, and I've started Game of Thrones but haven't gotten very far.
Prepare for an awesome ride mate.
You have a thing for lesbians, don't you?
What heterosexual man doesn't?
I've got the first four books, and I've started Game of Thrones but haven't gotten very far. They've said they're dividing up the third book in to two seasons though. You have a thing for lesbians, don't you?
Oh that's awesome. Have they said anything about the fourth or fifth books, though? I mean, granted, the fourth and fifth books are actually a single book split in half, with the fourth dealing entirely with the characters in the south and the fifth dealing with the north and the Free Cities, but if I recall correctly, both of those books are larger than the third book. I would imagine, then, if they're splitting the third book, they would also split the fourth and fifth books. Which also raises a question I've been having recently: Are they going to name all the seasons, regardless of the book they're following, Game of Thrones? After all, the name of the series is actually A Song of Fire and Ice - A Game of Thrones is simply the first book in the series. I would imagine they would stick to the name, though, just so fans don't get confused. Plus, as far as I know, they've already started airing the second season, so, :v: (I don't have HBO; we got the Blu-Ray box set when it came out because it's awesome enough to warrant the purchase). As to your question, what gave it away? :v:
