"omg what evr hapened 2 free speach" Did you people actually read the fucking article? He was arrested for distribution of CP, not for the book.
It's pretty stupid that the article mentions the book so much, then, if it's about him being arrested for that.
http://abcnews.go.com/m/screen?id=12111987 Read this article. From his mouth he said that the book is about how to behave, not how to molest children.
From his book he informs people about what sized condoms to buy to fit them on 13-year-old boys. I am going to have to ignore what he says about it entirely and just judge based on the actual content.
"omg what evr hapened 2 free speach" Did you people actually read the fucking article? He was arrested for distribution of CP, not for the book.
Oh, well that clears that up. Well I can safely say thank god this guys off to rot in prison.
Perhaps he should have wrote the book on that premise, then, because that's not what it says
I suppose you've read it then? I trust the author's word on the book more than yours. I doubt you've even read it.
Like how one can buy a book to make homemade bombs? That can also be used to hurt people, and making the bombs is also illegal. Again this is a slippery slope
That could be used for educational purposes, where as there won't be any courses requiring you buy a book detailing how to molest kids [editline]20th December 2010[/editline]
From his book he informs people about what sized condoms to buy to fit them on 13-year-old boys.
The detective arrested him on that charge, he based the charge on the book that he got. He called that book CP.
No, he didn't, they deemed the book probable cause that he has child pornography. They still can't do shit until they prove he does.
I suppose you've read it then? I trust the author's word on the book more than yours. I doubt you've even read it.
Because I'm sure the author is going to incriminate himself. People like this author always tend to dilute the truth.
That could be used for educational purposes, where as there won't be any courses requiring you buy a book detailing how to molest kids
And his book could be used as a psychological study of a pedophile's mindset.
Oh. That makes sense.
No, he didn't, they deemed the book probable cause that he has child pornography. They still can't do shit until they prove he does.
I read the article wrong, thanks for pointing that out.
And his book could be used as a psychological study of a pedophile's mindset.
I think the cons outweigh the pros Cons- Helps and instructs people on how to molest children Pros- Someone might use it for psychology
From his book he informs people about what sized condoms to buy to fit them on 13-year-old boys. I am going to have to ignore what he says about it entirely and just judge based on the actual content.
Yeah I looked up what it was really about but couldn't find a clear answer, but if that's the case then I'm glad he got locked up. [editline]20th December 2010[/editline]
That sounds like to me that they are calling the book obscene and child porn. Maybe I read the article wrong, I'll look through it again.
The way the article sounds, it seems like it's because of the actual pictures in the book.
From his book he informs people about what sized condoms to buy to fit them on 13-year-old boys. I am going to have to ignore what he says about it entirely and just judge based on the actual content.
well said, but where did you find this out? Just looking for a source is all
How the fuck is this relevant?
How the fuck isn't it relevant? search on this page for "Pedophile manifesto" and press play/listen to the interview with the author "Philip Greaves". http://www.kfiam640.com/common/podcast/single_page.html?podcast=JohnandKen
I think the cons outweigh the pros
I don't think child molesters are so incompetent they can't figure out how to rape a kid; this book isn't really going to cause more of that.
I read the article wrong, thanks for pointing that out.
dude i said that exact fact just a second ago you didn't only read it wrong, you read it wrong multiple times
How the fuck isn't it relevant? search on this page for "Pedophile manifesto" and press play/listen to the interview with the author. http://www.kfiam640.com/common/podcast/single_page.html?podcast=JohnandKen
Pedophile manifesto oh god what
That could be used for educational purposes
Yeah, so is the pedo's handbook, if you're trying to learn how to prevent said things to happen. Using the "think like the enemy" strategy.
well said, but where did you find this out? Just looking for a source is all
There was an excerpt from the book. I don't have it anymore or remember where I got it but if you can find an old ITN thread about the book I posted it in one of them.
dude i said that exact fact just a second ago
sorry :saddowns:
Pedophile manifesto oh god what
Just listen to it, Philip Greaves is either trolling or is actually fucked up in the head.
sorry :saddowns:
you should be not really have a heart for saying sorry
Surely if it were a truly paedophillic book, the author would have tried to conceal it under some other name? Haven't read it or anything so I can't really judge, but it's a bit like going to the airport and joking about being a terrorist and then ending up as an actual terror suspect as a result of that.

Most of it was left in unintentionally though.
they deemed the book probable cause that he has child pornography.
a miscarriage of justice right there
a miscarriage of justice right there
It's not the first time probably cause has been stretched.
It's not the first time probably cause has been stretched.
It's like using my ownership of a car to arrest me for drug trafficking
It's not the first time probably cause has been stretched.
i don't really think it's been stretched i mean, it did get him busted for CP. And i think the book was actually a pretty good indicator y'know.. [editline]20th December 2010[/editline] no smoke without fire
i think airport sec is alot more lax than they like to let people think
You missed an opportunity for great pun.. shoulda capitalised the LAX for extra lulz: LAX = Los Angeles International Airport (it's the IATA code)
