What part of the country are you from? What is the "social level" of your job?
Are you really going to try and use my job to discredit the idea that men talking about such shit in such blatant terms is kinda fucking wrong?
The "Social level" of my job would be middle class, I was raised middle class, and I spent the last 8 years of my life working in physical jobs doing what could be called "Working class" work. I've made a lot of friends over the years, some I'm still pretty fucking close with.
Not one guy in my life that wasn't a criminal has ever really made statements like "grab her by the pussy" or any equivalent without doing so in a clear mocking tone, or for black comedys purpose which is in my opinion, considerably different than the tone and phrasing Trump used. He talked in actuarial tones.

Woah, I'm not making a value judgement buddy, take it easy. I'm just saying that it happens.
That's why I asked. "Human resource departments" are a foreign concept to a large portion of American voters.
Believe it or not but I worked with my hands and body for the majority of my working life. Cabinet makers don't talk like that. Film industry people sure as shit don't talk like that(and we're a dark fucking bunch). Really, unless I think back to the time where I spent a fair amount of money and time around very unsavory individuals, I struggle to think of anyone who really fucking talks about other people like that.
Baffling, I know.
Talking about rape? I'm talking about him saying He tried to get with a chick he thought was hot even though she was married. Or talking about how hot some magazine model is. To me that's nothing. That is the definition of locker room talk
I doubt you talk about how you can control women by grabbing their pussy or how if you're rich they'll let you do whatever you want. That's degrading as shit and anyone who views women as human beings won't talk like that.
Clearly people who are saying this is average guy talk probably works in a male-dominant and heavily sexist environment (which reminds me of the movie North Country which I saw recently)
Personally I don't even see this as that big of a deal. This is how a lot of men talk with each other behind closed doors
This has been repeated a disturbing number of times now. It's not often I get to feel offended over something that's being said about my gender. This is not normal and should not be considered acceptable. It may be common in some circles, but that's not an indicator that it's alright, that's absolutely terrible.
I wish Trump would use a version of this argument tomorrow. It would allow Hillary to be the protector of women and the integrity of the male sex at the same time while destroying Trump, simply by saying that no, those kinds of comments are not normal, and certainly not acceptable in any case, of men.
one of my favorite things about this ordeal is seeing anti-abortion republicans trip over themselves to show how supportive of women they are
Not the vibe I'm getting from it. I think it's because of Bush's laugh after he says it, I can just imagine Trump sitting there with that goofy face he pulls.
I think when you're listening to a man like Donald, who is a celebrity, who is rich, and who has pulled stunts like this historically, you should give it more weight
honestly, when anyone says that kinda shit so straight laced you should think about it more than you are
Fucking heroin addicts can mind their words better than Trump like where are people getting these insane ideas that talking like that is at all common I mean what trash are people hanging out with?
This is the point I can't agree with though. I think Scott Adams said it well:
The whole (m/b)illionaire playboy thing is heavily represented in pop culture, and "get money fuck bitches" is a staple of hip-hop. Pretending you're only disgusted by it now because Trump said it is just plain hypocritical.
But Trump isn't a black rapper in his fucking twenties and a black rapper in his twenties isn't a potential presidential candidate
Literally excuse after excuse
Honestly, if anyone I know had said something as degrading to women as Trump has, I'd question my fucking friend ship with them.
Doesn't matter if you use the excuse "It's just regular guy's talk!", because someone who's running for president shouldn't behave that way (or anyone else for that matter).

No, that's still disgusting and you're fucking deluded if you think it isn't.
That's why I asked. "Human resource departments" are a foreign concept to a large portion of American voters.
And even in those workplaces you don't really hear what Trump said to Bush in those recordings so I don't see what your point is.

I've also never thought much of those kind of people either but the difference here is they aren't running for president lol.
Also most Hollywood male actors don't talk like that. Especially not the biggest stars like Tom Hanks, probably the biggest name in hollywood today.
Man, voting for trump in the primaries was the worst decision of my life
Is there anyway for the republicans to kick out trump and replace him with cruz/Kasich

Unless Trump resigns, not at all. Wait for 4 years, then hope the GOP gets their head out of their asses.

the GOP will not exist in four years
I don't think you should assume that. Fact is that Clinton and Trump both have a vast number of people who are making allegations of them being a bad person and saying or doing bad things. Ex employees and the like. Discounting the people with grudges (over being fired or whatever) and the people who want to grab their 15 minutes of fame, it's still a lot of people. It's just cognitive bias over which side you believe really.
It's true that politicians turn lying into an artform, phrasing their answers in the exact manner so they can always say "Oh but you should have interpreted my answer that way". The phrase "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" does come to mind, which I've always found interesting because he argued that receiving oral sex does not count as "sexual relations".
It's one of the reasons Trump has the support he has. People hate these answers. The politicians know exactly what they mean to say, and they know that it's going to be interpreted in an entirely different way. The people feel they're being lied to and can't do jack about it because it's within the boundaries of the law.
I get that people are unsatisfied with politicians not being direct (which I'd argue is a fact of politics) . However, as long as you don't provide sources for those quotes you posted, we can assume them to be false just by benefit of the doubt.
I'm in the Marines, we get as raunchy as you can imagine when it's just the guys. Anyone who says shit like this would have been outcasted immediately, it's way too far.
let's just ignore the fact that bill clinton was impeached for having an affair and that hillary was completely fine with it lmao
let's just ignore the fact that bill clinton was impeached for having an affair and that hillary was completely fine with it lmao
What did you expect her to do, and how is that hillary's fault?
let's just ignore the fact that bill clinton was impeached for having an affair and that hillary was completely fine with it lmao
It's almost as if she and Bill worked through the personal issues in their marriage in private and didn't have a public show and dance about it.
let's just ignore the fact that bill clinton was impeached for having an affair and that hillary was completely fine with it lmao
bill's affair got him impeached that means it's only logical that Trump should fuck off as well because of this
sounds good to me

"Well, I'll tell you the funniest is that before a show, I'll go backstage and everyone's getting dressed, and everything else, and you know, no men are anywhere, and I'm allowed to go in because I'm the owner of the pageant and therefore I'm inspecting it, you know, I'm inspecting because I want to make sure that everything is good. You know, the dresses. 'Is everyone okay?' You know, they're standing there with no clothes. 'Is everybody okay?' And you see these incredible looking women, and so, I sort of get away with things like that. But no, I've been very good."
"I was actually faithful to my wife for many years, until I realized the marriage wasn't gonna work."
"No, I have no age — I mean, I have [an] age limit. I don't want to be like Congressman Foley, with, you know, 12-year-olds."
For double impact, if he was referring to Representative Mark Foley, which he seems to be, Trump was later endorsed by him. That's gotta be awkward for Mark.
I'd bet this one is the "on par with" one, not the "worse" one. Although if you rephrase it right, like Jezebel did, you can imply Trump is down with fucking 13-year-olds, which would be really bad for him.
I can't wait to be an old man in my hover la-z-boy, look my grandkids in the eyes when they say "gramps, we're learning about US history! What was it like when Trump was running for presidency?" and tell them "I got no fucking idea, that whole thing was such a shit show from day one and it just got worse as it went along."
let's just ignore the fact that bill clinton was impeached for having an affair and that hillary was completely fine with it lmao
Standing at the bottom of the Marianas Trench, the straws floating six miles above.

Solid family values right there.

Nah, that kind of argument is not made in good faith.

Now we shall do the same thing with Trump and make sure he doesn't get into the White House.

Barack HUSSEIN Obama would probably make a better GOP nominee lol
Nah, that kind of argument is not made in good faith.
No, but since when has that stopped most people? It's definitely solid clickbait material, and I literally linked to a blog that's already contextualizing it that way. It's not true, but it might become the version everyone shares around the watercooler, and that's the version that will affect elections.
