You do know its a completely new group of people, right?
TV still censored, radio will never be the same and i don't see them giving up any power over those mediums. It doesn't really matter to me at all, you can replace men over time but bad systems are bad systems and will inevitably revert to its previous state of being shit.

Pretty sure I still see some pretty gorey shit sometimes. Pretty sure I can still catch late night cheesy porno's. What freedoms of TV are we missing now?
So what exactly is Net Neutrality?
Yeah so they're playing you for suckers, all i remember is when all those people got fined for obscenity haphazardly for obscene amounts of money on the radio and television. You had to be around for that, don't tell me they're all sugar and spice and everything nice after the censorship crusade they went on during the late 90's - 2000's.
Boy you really are one dumb mother fucker aren't you.
Can't the internet just stay status quo? I like it as it is now.
Boy you really are one dumb mother fucker aren't you.
I brought up the faults of the government program who controlled the media on TV and radio and who now want to dabble in internet, which i don't trust. You on the other hand present no argument and look like an asshole. [editline]e[/editline] You're so edgy and cool man
Good

Republicans are evil. Democrats are spineless. Who the hell are Americans supposed to vote for?
Republicans are evil. Democrats are spineless. Who the hell are Americans supposed to vote for?
Ralph Nader? ^:v:^
Republicans are evil. Democrats are spineless. Who the hell are Americans supposed to vote for?
It's pretty obvious actually. Would you rather have a fat girlfriend that uses your money to buy donuts and watches TV all day, or a girlfriend which will use even more of your money to buy expensive, sharp knives and weapons to try to mutilate your genitals with?
TV still censored, radio will never be the same and i don't see them giving up any power over those mediums. You can rest assured that you'll be able to type "Fuck Obama" all you want for the foreseeable future.

[editline]e[/editline] You're so edgy and cool man
We've already told you (and by we, I mean others), the FCC is PROTECTING Net Neutrality. You on the other hand present no argument and look like a dip shit. Acting like they'll censor words over the Internet because they did with TV and radio is not only the dumbest thing I have heard in my entire life, but I actually cringe at how stupid you are. Seriously, I wish I could punch you throw your computer right now. FCC censored radio and TV, ok? Doesn't mean they can't defend NN. Hitler killed thousands if not millions of Jews, ok? Doesn't mean he can't rebuild his country. You're so edgy and cool man.

The reason you don't see people fucking on basic cable is because of advertisers.
How about fuck no, House of Representatives Fuck you and your greedy grubby little shit hands. I pay enough for internet as it is like HELL am I going to pay MORE to get in all likelihood shittier service. Fuck you
It's pretty obvious actually. Fucking Jim Bonerman. Fuck him. Fuck the freshman class. Fuck every fucking republican/Teafucker who managed to seduce the populace into the fallacies of the GREATNESS of grubby corps. Don't get me wrong, I fucking love capitalism and I love business. I love them to death. But all they're aiming for is a completely corporate controlled environment, which is the same if not worse than a "communist" government with horrifying Free Healthcare, which is payed out of tax dollars, so it doesn't even fucking MATTER. I wish I didn't have to deal with this mess of a faulty government. I wish I didn't have to inherit these problems from these elected officials who do nothing to further our country, just themselves.
I'd rather leave it up to the ISP, and change if I don't like it, rather than having the feds decide it, and leave me no recourse.
Oh hey it's Ridge being manipulated to go against his own interests again.
I brought up the faults of the government program who controlled the media on TV and radio
You word it like they, and only they, can decide what goes on television. Beaming the propaganda into your heaadddd mannn [editline]10th March 2011[/editline]
which is the same if not worse than a "communist" government with horrifying Free Healthcare, which is payed out of tax dollars, so it doesn't even fucking MATTER.
So much wrong with this. btw, boyo, a completely corporatist state is the nature of capitalism.
Republicans. There I summarized the entire thread.
tread carefully, son, there's plenty of netusing republicans like myself that are all in favor of net neutrality. [editline]10th March 2011[/editline] "net neutrality hurts the internet!" yeah well not having net neutrality hurts the user.
TV still censored, radio will never be the same and i don't see them giving up any power over those mediums. ITT: people arguing over which overly huge organization of people and regulations should decide what does and doesn't get put on the internet [editline]10th March 2011[/editline] I don't think at this point there is anything either the government or corporations can do to stop the internet from being free in some form. This has been put to the test in places like Egypt where people were able to break through the nationwide blockage of media.
I never thought I'd live to see the day where a political concept angered even me. You can ask anyone, I'm usually a laid back, apathetic kind of guy. Eliminating Net Neutrality, however, even I think is going too far.
We've already told you (and by we, I mean others)
So officially you said nothing and had no argument. Thanks.
You on the other hand present no argument and look like a dip shit. Acting like they'll censor words over the Internet because they did with TV and radio is not only the dumbest thing I have heard in my entire life
Why? How is that a stretch of the imagination that they'd like to control other mediums? You just calling me stupid isn't an argument or defense and it takes significant credibility from you when you say things like:
but I actually cringe at how stupid you are. Seriously, I wish I could punch you throw your computer right now. FCC censored radio and TV, ok? Doesn't mean they can't defend NN. Hitler killed thousands if not millions of Jews, ok? Doesn't mean he can't rebuild his country.
lol, just lol YOU ARE CLEARLY THE INTELLECTUAL SUPERIOR
I can watch fucking commercials for dildos....I think we're getting more freedoms than before.
It isn't legislated to be that way though, it's arbitrary and based on the whims of whoever is in charge at any given time. That's a fucking terrible system.
Hitler was an awesome leader if it was actually possible to count out the genocide thing. Edit: But shiiit. Republicans and democrats are like two little kids fighting, both are disagreeing eachothers ideas just for the sake of it AND BECAUSE OBAMA IS A MUSLIM!!!111 edit: AND HES STOOPID
The rules would hurt wireless Internet service providers (WISPs) that don't have the bandwidth to deliver high-definition video and other bandwidth-intensive services
Well don't offer 1GB download a month. People are just using what THEY pay for, and they're trying to decide what they can and can't so that they can pocket more of their money. I was so relieved when I heard the FCC made these rules, this pisses me off now.
People need to stop bitching about the FCC. Sure, they bleep a few words out on TV, censor a few dicks here and a few tits there, but is it really that bad? They don't regulate what you see because if you want to see tits, you go on the Internet, a place which the FCC is trying to protect.
I just want to make sure. Net Neutrality is good because it prevents such things like "network packages." And the FCC is doing a good job by supporting Net Neutrality. Am I right?
Meanwhile in Finland: No usage cap, no censorship, in 2014 service providers will be forced to provide a 100Mbps downlink anywhere in the country, fiber cannot be "locked" so if fiber exists in the ground, any company can rent it and start competing, Internet access is a civil right. I might not like my country in other regards, but we're handling the Internet side of things well enough.
