They are definitely not emo. I didn't know who they were until now, and just discovered what "shoegazing" is. There's a strange sense of distortion and calmness to their music, and it really has a mellow sound to it. I like it. So if you want something to relax to, I'd recommend checking these guys out now.

the new album is pretty brilliant. the first few songs sound like loveless part 2 then it goes into its own amazing directions, doing some stuff you wouldn't expect (an entirely synth-driven song, a drum n bass kinda thing, etc.)

Haven't heard the new one yet but I still love Loveless.

I read a comment on one of these uploads that were to do with Final Fantasy 7 ? Apparently the intro had a theatre marquee showing Loveless and My Bloody Valentine. But I'm uncertain if this is where the band got the name from.

yeah the second half really stands out, especially the last few tracks

I don't really know what to think of this new album. I think "Loveless" and "Isn't Anything" are amazing but I have that feeling that "M B V" is missing something, perhaps that underlying power that the other 2 albums had in some of their songs.

Maybe this album just has to grow on me a little, never had that with the other albums and EP's though.
