I'm glad Valve took their time and released Left 4 Dead 2 one year after Left 4 Dead.
Activision = :unsmigghh:
That cause it is. The took the time to make a good game. They didn't rush it. And there not greedy fucks like IW.
If it weren't for Activision, MW2 Wouldn't be rushed and there would probably be dedicated servers :colbert:
Don't blame Infinity Ward.
Call Of Duty: Prehistoric Warfare
As someone who grew up in the 80's, it kind of pains to see that Activision has turned out like this. They originally were the little guy, the first and for a while only 3rd party developer.

Except it actually was Infinity Ward's decision to not include dedicated servers, considering the simple fact that people could re-enable them and the console to begin with.

Because Activision rushed it. :suicide:
What did Activision rush about MW2 that made them want to disable dedicated server support (which would have saved them the time of making IWNET in the first place if they didn't)? Enlighten me. I'd love to know.
It could be Activision that forced IW to not have Dedis because they wanted to force overpriced DLC up our asses. But until Respawn Entertainment makes a game we won't know (if it has dedis, then it was most probably Activision, if not it was most probably IW).
They should make it 0.5 CoD games in 2 years, then after 4 years they should have an actual good game.
We'll always have good games from back then.
They should just remake the games... If they're going to run out of ideas.
Best way possible. Add in some new graphics, I don't know.
Just keep them from making more horrible games, for us gamers don't kill ourselves.
The crossbows have ACOG scopes on and a 25-kill streak allows you to unleash the plague.
with a countdown of 3 days
And yeah, if activision were to be incorporated with ValvE, then they'd probably make them rush it and it would have all these bugs and shiet.
And, to mention have killstreaks that don't make sense.
It doesn't matter if they remake the games or not. Infinity Ward is pretty much done and remaking the games would probably just introduce horrible balance issues and "features" from the newer games into the older ones and ruin the nostalgia for all of the people still stuck on Call of Duty 1. It wouldn't solve anything. At this point, you people should really get used to hearing about Call of Duty, because it isn't going south of mainstream anytime soon.
Wow, talk about milking the cash cow.
we may see the inclusion of a third-person perspective for the first time
I may be mistaken but I'm pretty sure MW2 had a third-person perspective gamemode too...
In my opinion MW2 was a good game, if not MP wise, SP wise for sure. I wish they would slow down and make a much longer game with the same length. I don't think anyone would protest that...:/
I love the co-op missions in MW2, and I loved the ones in CoD4, I just wish there were more of them as I completed them all in a days run with a friend.
I knew the series was a dead horse when they started to release the MW2 features list after CoD4. Seriously, if this was only a couple years ago, MW2 would have been a bargain-bin special. I find it truly amazing how people can actually enjoy such pure crap.
Some of the most poor quality games I have ever seen just happen to be the top-sellers.
The game wouldn't have had such negative reception if they hadn't have gone the way of P2P, included votekicking, and fixed all of the horrible balance issues in the game. Past that, the game isn't as loving horrible as people make it out to be.
That being said, I have no respect for Activision in general or really Infinity Ward anymore since they decided to drop the bomb on a lot of shit and neglect to even bother testing their games enough. CoD4 had minor balance issues at most. Really don't know where their testing team went.
Also just because killstreaks don't make sense doesn't mean they aren't a decent feature. "Realistic" MP games just don't work when the playerbase you're appealing to has the attention span of a soda can.
Oh, sorry, but still, it's a game. It isn't a movie. Just because it has a bad plot doesn't mean it isn't fun, which is the only thing that matters in GAMES.
Part of what made CoD 4 so fun was the engaging storyline that was pretty easy to understand.
When you know what's going on, the game is a lot more fun.
MW2 wasn't that good, I doubt next cods will be. Especially if they make 3 games in 2 years
Well, to be fair each game is going to me made by a different dev. I still don't like this though.

You have to admit the airport level was awesome.
More like Activision set to continue milking a dead cow with three more releases of what was once one of the greatest PC games of all time to the biggest 12 year old convention and camping fest since Halo 3.
Halo 3 is hardly a camping fest, and it's a pretty good game too.
Oh no I hope I'm not going against popular opinion and bandwagons here

:)
I miss the days where games where made for enjoyment, after the likings of the developers. Nowadays games are just cash-cows made for the masses.
WWII from a nazi point of view would be sweet.
Not that they'll actually do it, they will probably just copy paste the last CoD game and add 2 new guns.
On the other hand: Call of Duty: Mass Warfare (CoD in Mass Effect style) could be awesome.
Can't wait to kill those Turians with my Krogan.
*deleted for your sake*
Nice one man.
Anyway, CoD turned into "Team America Fuck Yeah!" after the fourth.
Call of Duty: The Adventures of Ramirez
Ramirez in space!

Sadly it did.
They are milking it way too much.
lol
MILK IT DRY.

Or they could actually be efficient.
