I doubt his stance on immigration is going to survive the RNC, even then I doubt he will have the backbone to stand up against his party on this one, I see him halfheartingly push a bill to Congress, it'll fail, then he will go back to the voters and say "well it failed but we will still fix it if you give us more seats and another term" then they'll try again, it'll fail, then rinse repeat
That's why he said it in Spanish. He's the only GOP member that knows the language. :v:
Jebs probably the best republican candidate this election.
Not really a ringing endorsement, his track record on fiscal responsibility, race relations and particularly what to do with those in the grip of poverty is shit-tier abysmal.

Rubio can speak Spanish but that's about it.
One step forward, eight years worth of steps back. Sorry Jeb but that's not good enough for me.
Can you name a better Republican option though? I'd prefer another Bush to, say, Rand Paul
I can do you one better, I have a better option in general: not voting Republican.
I don't think Cuba having a dictator matters. We trade with China and Vietnam even though they're authoritarian as fuck and no one gives a shit.
Jeb's stance is just cold war revivalist gibberish in my opinion. "It's US, or them dirty reds."
You'd be surprised. I've been in China and while it's pretty obvious they do suppress freedom of speech and thought and the like, if you stay out of things like that the quality of life is actually pretty good.
Really the only thing you kinda have to turn a blind eye to are 50% of the public toilets. Holy shit.
Someone told me that you could actually go as far as spread literature in public such as pamphlets (including religious?), but the catch is that you must be a Chinese citizen to do this.

I was talking in terms of if you had to pick a republican.
What's the safest way to go skiing? Don't ski
Considering how horrible the last Bush was, I'll be hardly surprised if there's any change in policies from that disaster of an administration. Practical fascist for all intents and purposes, far right, legalized torture, mass surveillance, banning of gay marriage during his office, wars literally based on resource acquisition and outright imperialism, presidential election decided by a court appointed by this very person, etc. There's a million reasons why hopefully we aren't too stupid to repeat that mistake.
I'll vote for him over my dead body that's for certain. That dynasty has proven to be too powerful and too undemocratic to ever allow another one of their kind in office.
Is it okay to throw around the word fascist like republicans throw around the word socialist?

Make him Jeb's VP option and the hispanic vote might teeter
He wasn't very popular among state workers if memory serves me though.
He made it easier for them to get fired, which is a good thing. You could be a very unproductive worker but because you had a few years of service you wouldn't get fired.

That leaves only 3rd party to vote for.
That sounds like the typical republican position as of right now except maybe for Trump and some other fringes. I don't think any of them are saying we shouldn't make it easier to enter legally.
I doubt Sanders will get the ticket. The biggest thing against him is that he's a self-proclaimed "socialist" and that alone will damn him in the eyes of too many Americans. Clinton has a much broader appeal, which is a shame because she's a goddamn harpy.
I want to see another Bush vs Clinton just because I think it would be hilarious.

It would be a real life Epic Rap Battle of History...

Pretty sure cruize and Paul are saying exactly that, I remember them saying they would only talk about legalization overhauls if the boarder was secure but that's basically an impossibility so they'll never talk about it
