What.... Can i sue activision for wasting time i could of spent watching valuable porn? That just makes me sick.
"Hello kiddies and welcome to noobtube." Tell me what kin dof target audience CoD have got.
I wasn't being funny. I was being completely serious. The fact you thought I was joking shows that you are the one that is upholding that generalization and bandwagon in your tiny little head.
I never said I thought you were joking, that's something you came up with. It's just the fact that being so ignorant isn't really an image FP should have about the CoD series, or in general anymore. There are a lot of people who enjoy this game, there will always be kids aswell as adults. The fact that you turn aggressive because you can't counter-argue makes it seem to me that you might be a part of your own generalisation.
Isn't it illegal to market games that are meant for adults to children?
I keep asking if Activision can get any worse, and then I get my answer
Isn't it illegal to market games that are meant for adults to children?
The rating guidelines are not laws, any child can play a M rated game and there's no laws preventing them from marketing them towards kids. The point of ratings is to inform parents and allow them to choose what their children see, not to prevent children from seeing it. It's not like CoD is particularly deserving of a mature rating anyway, it's basically an arcade shooter with cartoon violence at this point. It's not particularly violent, bloody, gorey, or realistic.
Wow, and I thought the BlackOps 2 trailer was funny This is legitimately painful to watch, its just so extremely awkward and comfortable
it's good for the target audience (even though legally it shouldn't be 13 year olds)
It takes itself as seriously as the video game dubstep montage meme but in clipshow format. And without being ironic. This is awful.

I don't even know who exactly this was marketed to. I don't know any CoD players that think this is funny. I don't know any human beings that think this is funny.
As I watched this, I felt nothing but sadness.
As I watched this, I felt nothing but sadness.
I smiled at the grenade part near the end if only because I've seen it happen so many times.
I'm sorry, I'm not good at arguments. I know there are a lot of adult people who play COD, I've met a bunch of extremely great people when I played MW2, I guess all the bad experiences I've had with COD community just seemed to outshine the good.
It's a popular game about Strong Military Men shooting other Strong Military Men to death with guns, most games like that tend to have poor communities.
Ah. I forgot that it was just California that did it, and it was struck down in court.
For obvious reasons. There is no way a court will ever do that, it's against the first amendment.
It's a popular game about Strong Military Men shooting other Strong Military Men to death with guns, most games like that tend to have poor communities.
Its also really badly balanced so its full of bullshit that turns regular players of it into short tempered douchebags. Kind of like LoL's community.
No one finds this funny. Please stop generalising like a morron, that bandwagon is getting old.
Then why does the video have 2000+ likes?
Then why does the video have 2000+ likes?
Maybe they liked the name.
Then why does the video have 2000+ likes?
Because some people have an appreciation for irony. [sp]Or they're idiots[/sp]
I meant not monthly subscription. Technically it is a subscription but it doesn't even autorenew. It's a subscription in the same way Battlefield Premium is a subscription. [editline]3rd July 2012[/editline] If you read my post it's actually pretty clear I'm replying to someone talking about monthly payments but I guess going for easy zings in a CoD thread is a lot easier then reading.
Dude get your definition of subscription right. You only pay once for Battlefield Premium, ever. If you want to use CoD Elite for more than one year, you have to pay a yearly fee, which in other words is a subscription. You don't have to pay again for BF3 Elite.

That time period for Battlefield 3 is currently listed is July 2012 through March 2013. If they have more content to produce it's more than reasonable to assume you will have to purchase another license. Likewise with MW3, if they continue making content for it (which I doubt; Activision seems to have a thing for yearly releases and it would probably make more money in the long run to just work on the next title) then yes you will have to pay another $50 license fee. The whole subscription/monthly payment/premium/elite lingo is needlessly complex. When you break it down to basically what it is, buying content as a package, it makes more sense.

If not then my apologies, got it wrong.
I thought the point of BF3 Premium was that you didn't have to pay for upcoming content. [editline]4th July 2012[/editline] I'm just saying, if they continue to release content for BF3 I'd have to imagine that it wouldn't be part of Premium because then they would start operating at a loss. Just my guess though, the only thing I'm working on is assumptions and the calender listings on the Premium homepage ending at March 2013.

These jokes... Somebody call 911 'Cause I was robbed!
Call of Duty has reached China's mesosphere.
Then why does the video have 2000+ likes?
The video I saw had twice as many dislikes.
