Bad Company 2 Battlefield 2 Star Wars Battlefront 2 Quake 3 (does this include Q3 Live?) Halo Red Dead Redemption Unreal Crysis God, please no don't do this.
When there was a gamebreaking bug for Halo CE a few years ago (well after Bungie stopped supporting it), a Bungie employee fixed it in his own free time. I'm not hopeful we'll see that again though, due to the fact that they'd have to totally overhaul the multiplayer code.
Ah, fuck. It's been nice, Borderlands.

That's Borderlands 1 gone as well.
Quite sure it runs on Steamworks, now.
Gamespy has quit servicing previous game titles before such as Neverwinter Nights. They just made their own server directory and changed the gamespy IP to the directories IP. Of course, servers who weren't added to the directory couldn't be seen but it allows for some games with an active community to remain so. I'd imagine some of the games that are no longer being supported could use a similar system.
Quake 3 (does this include Q3 Live?)
I think Tremulous and Urban Terror still use Q3's master server. I guess that's them down too, gonna miss all those good times.
Red Dead Redemption
So why did Rockstar decided to put RDR, a PS3/360 game, on Gamespy when they use whatever?
Bad Company 2 Battlefield 2 Star Wars Battlefront 2 Quake 3 (does this include Q3 Live?) Halo Red Dead Redemption Unreal Crysis God, please no don't do this.
Quake 3 doesn't rely on Gamespy. PlanetQuake does, though.
Delta Force Black Hawk Down and IL-2 Sturmovik are doomed.. FUCK FUCK FUCK UGH
Shit it's had a long run. Was like 15 years old. I still remember using QSpy to find servers on my shitty 28.8k modem.
Bad Company 2 God, please no don't do this.
WHAT?! I can't see BF:BC2 on this list http://arena.gamespy.com/platform/pc/ But if what you're saying is true.. god damn it, Bad Company 2 is my favorite multiplayer game ever(Except TF2, but nonetheless)..
this shouldn't interfere with LAN stuff right? Hamachi methods will still work for playing these games over the net, right???
WHAT?! In some cases Gamespy Arcade could facilitate multiplayer by setting up lobbies and connecting people (similar to say GameRanger), but it's not the actual backbone of the multiplayer system for that game. http://www.poweredbygamespy.com/projects/2003-titles/ This lists all the games that are poweredbygamespy, as in they use gamespy technology to actually run the multiplayer servers.
IL-2 Sturmovik
Pretty much everybody uses HyperLobby for that though.
Quite sure it runs on Steamworks, now.
That's Borderlands 2.

There are still so many people playing every day.
God dammit I just bought BF2 for Project Reality today.
Wait a minute what the fuck Unreal Tournament? Aww fuck.
Doesn't that mean Borderlands 1 is gonna die? :v: [editline]4th April 2014[/editline] Nevermind I'm dumb as fuck
Shit, and I just reinstalled Bad Company 2.
this sucks so bad :(
List of games affected: I'm most sad about Battlefield 2 closing down and it's associated mods, including Project Reality and Forgotten Hope 2. Does this mean medieval 2 total wars online is dead? What the hell people still play the total war games, creative assembly had better fix that shit.
It's weird to think that a couple of decades from now, unlike any other medium, it will be impossible to enjoy games today, not just because of technical issues, but because they were multiplayer experiences.
Would I still be able to play Hexen online via source ports like ZDoom?
Fuck me 2142 is going to be gone forever. I'm still pissed that I never got to play that game for more than a few months in elementary school. That game was ridiculously underrated.

Oh man, was it fun as hell to see so many players jumping and lunging at each other. I hope they will find a way to allow the games to remain online. For nostalgia and historic purposes at least.
Be happy
Overall very sad
