Skies clear here but it's not even dark. I don't understand
Well these clouds ruined it.

We had some experts go out and warn against exactly that here yesterday. So yeah I wouldn't try this.

Can see a faint sun through the clouds. Also seagulls.

At some point it was cloudy and you could see eclipse with your naked eye. It was really cool. No filters or anything required.

Too many god damn clouds. You can't see any shape. It only went slightly dark.
It's cloudy as fuck here but you can actually see it trough them, amazing.
So many people are going to have permanent damage to their vision today.
Despite the fact that the sky is completely clear here, it kind of feels like as if it were late afternoon. At the very least I can easily tell that my dorm's interior is unusually dark.
I got a good picture with my phone but the immediate post processing my phone does ruined it :(
This is the best one I managed to get.

The cloud cover was actually perfect, could see it really clearly with no retina scars.
It's only partial here but the skies are totally clear so I have to use a piece of arc welding glass.
Gives a very strange atmosphere though.

Wasn't too bad, the cloud cover was at such a level that you could view it with a digital camera (rotated LCD screen on the side) fairly easily.
Totality in Svalbard!

It was a bit cloudy but got some cool views with a welder mask nontheless
Welp, just as the eclipse was supposed to become at its fullest where i live, and clouds just came and blocked it off. At least i got my sight properly back now after staring into it though
rip everyone's eyes
What a fucking surprise, it's overcast here.
What, we can't even view shit from Singapore
rip everyone's eyes
I'll rather risk my phones camera than my eyes.
Btw too cloudy as well?
The fucking suns come out now, fucking typical UK
well that was underwhelming
it got a little dimmer, but that might as well have been the clouds
Well it got darker, but the sun was still doing sun stuff and was far too bright to look at so I only managed a cautionary glimpse and that was that. This is a picture of what it looked like during the height for me...

Lots of people just standing around taking in the smell of their retinas burning.
Made myself a little camera.

sadly even the sun blocked 90% it doesnt make any darker around you.
i've taken some neat pictures with special filters

man, that aurora we had around here 2 nights ago was way more spectacular than this
im not trusting any cosmic body related events outside our atmosphere anymore
I was expecting complete overcast, so happy to get some patches to see it :)
Though I only had my phone..
