Gotta say for a crash landing that looks pretty damn clean.
Well technically a crash landing just means a landing you can't take off from again
imagine being on a fucking golf course and seeing a big yellow world war II plane just come crashing down, and then seeing harrison ford flop out of it
I really hope he recovers...
I really really do hope he recovers.
But if he doesnt.. man. What a Harrison Ford way to go.
since when did fp ever care about injured/dead people's feelings
some mods made some jokes in the past (heh) and the most praised sh posts are usually about some pun about a kid dying. no one cares about feelings.

the only time someone gave a shit about an injured or dead person is when they're incredibly popular or they're an animal killed by a human
It's also because we've got gut feelings he's gonna be fine plus look at that fucking crash landing it's fucking flawless jesus christ
I can't tell if "flying solo" was a godamn pun or not.
Hope he's well though!
laugh it up, fuzzball
Could you guys please refrain from stupid respectless puns, dude is seriously injured and you're trying to cash in on the zingers.
Think for once.

Not saying you have to be negative when I'm saying that going for cheap stupid "haha Solo get it?" posts sucks.
That was one guy saying he hopes the writer wasn't intentionally making a pun. Get over yourself.

the fucking Whiplash reference... why? As much as I love Whiplash, why?

It's an epic meme that's why.
My cousin is a firefighter pilot. On his off time, he works for Harrison Ford, teaching and re-teaching him to fly helicopters and planes. I say re-teaching because Harrison Ford likes nice aircraft, but he spends so much time away from the aircraft that he remembers just enough to get up and in the air to as my cousin puts it, 'scare the shit out of himself and convince him he needs lessons again'. He always said Ford would end up crashing his plane or whatever he was flying. I have a few more stories about Mr. Ford if you like.
I hope he is ok. I really don't want to Harrison Ford to die this way.
Damn what's with ford getting into weird mishaps?
First the Millennium Falcon breaks his ankle, now he nearly gets badly hurt flying a WW2 type plane
I like how the article states that he only received "very moderate" injuries and is in "fair to moderate" condition yet the title of this thread states that he was "seriously injured".
edit: Even the quoted part in your post is made up. The article starts by saying "injured", not "seriously injured".

But Harrison Ford is incredibly popular.

Incredibly popular as in Leonard Nimoy incredibly popular
Harrison Ford is very popular
He'll probably be fine. The plane looks like it could be repaired even so the crash couldn't have been too bad, and they say that Ford actually walked away from the plane, So I wouldn't think too much of it
His son just tweeted this:
https://twitter.com/ChefBenFord/status/573649772583591937
"At the hospital. Dad is ok. Battered, but ok! He is every bit the man you would think he is. He is an incredibly strong man."
sounds like he's gonna pull through then
That's what they said about Liam Neeson's wife. :/

That's gotta be the best way to go tbh. Miles better than wasting away in a bed.
"One thing you can say about the city planners of Santa Monica way back then when they put in a golf course: It was a wise choice," said Joe Justice, president of Justice Aviation, a flight school in Santa Monica. "There are many airports that do have golf courses nearby ... and many pilots are grateful."
I can't imagine how weird it must've been for anyone on the course.
Just casually golfing one day and Harrison Ford makes a crash landing in a WWII-era plane onto your course.
From TMZ, that's some damn good maneuvering!

He chose the absolute best possible place to land in that situation
I wonder if he had a bad feeling about this.

luckily harrison ford will be safe and sound and go back to bein grandpa solo in future star wars films
Engine failure is no joke. Glad it happened shortly after takeoff and not a couple miles in the air. Things worked out for the best, it seems.
I wish him for a speedy recovery. Hopefully he will back on his feet
