Toast sandwich is UK's 'cheapest meal' - Polidicks

Somehow it's our countries' fault that you were bored and stupid enough to copy a money saving idea from the 1800's? You got the idea from a "scientific research" article and decided to go through with it, and now you're holding it against the U.K because you were dissapointed. I'm laughing through my dirty yellow teeth right now.

I thought it was pretty good. Not great, but good. I used a special pepper blend however, and a lot of parkay butter. Only problem is that it really doesn't fill me up at all.

It is not bad when you use nice bread (I used sourdough for the outside and toasted pumpernickel for the inside) although that kind of defeats the purpose of it being cheap.

I made one just now... I tried the first one, just that... Then I tried the second one, with a slice of cheese in the middle of it and tasted much better. I guess if you're homeless, this would be like a God-send for you. But, to me... It's just... Kinda filling.

I just made myself one of these. Will edit with my opinion. Edit: Well to be honest that wasn't good. It wasn't bad either. You'd be better off just eating the bread.
