• Britain in Turmoil: Greggs stop selling bread

Let me be honest here aslong as they keep pumping out Sausage Rolls and Veg Pasties it's not complete crisis. The Day the radicals come for our Sausage rolls I will don my ancestors sword and shield and claim what is rightfully that of every British person.
sayers > greggs
When I go in a Greggs I get such tunnel vision from their caramel doughnuts that they might as well sell nothing else as far as I'm concerned. Those doughnuts are almost impossibly good. I'm pretty sure they are constant in the universe and the day they stop selling them is the day our reality collapses in on itself.
Greggs sausage rolls are the best and anyone who disagrees can fight me one on one.
At least Lidl bakes and sells bread. [T]http://angelikasgerman.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/2013-10-04-12.48.19.jpg[/T] I was expecting it to taste like shit, but it's actually surprisingly good :v:
True, though I haven't eaten their bread per se. Their other baked goods are generally alright though, I usually buy one of their doughnuts after I've gone to the bank and decide to peruse their wares.
Most of the modernised Greggs don't sell it any more. Hell the main store in Newcastle hasn't sold it for a good few years now, with the store closer to me still selling stotties, but not bread. Edit: I don't know what they've done to their cheese pasties recently, but they taste like shit now. Conveniently they've brought out cheaper cheese rolls, which taste like the old recipe :v:
Greggs is overpriced. Cooplands is the real deal
its really hard for any supermarket chain to fuck up plain white bread
Sainsburys walnut bread is the dogs bollocks.
at least they still have the mexican chicken sandwiches i need them in my life
why would a sandwich/pastry shop sell loaves anyway.. Nobody actually goes in for the sole reason to buy a loaf of bread.
[t]https://www.greggs.co.uk/assets/Uploads/Savouries/Bacon-Cheese-Wrap.jpg[/t] These artery cloggers are the only reason I go to Greggs.
get on my level mate
[t]http://i.imgur.com/iDjmSqU.png[/t] Holy shit he's not joking
That's because Gregg's would have too much competition from well established pasty shops in Cornwall and pasties are quite popular in Devon. All hail the pasty curtain/great wall of pasty source: lived in plymouth for years
I wasn't aware that Greggs did anything aside from sausage rolls [editline]22nd May 2015[/editline] ANARCHY IN THE UK BRING BACK THE BREAD

Also my local greggs still does bread, just bought a loaf of tiger bread and had a chicken sandwich.
